I feel a lawsuit coming on. Colorado Reports..Clarified. I hope.

I hate lawsuits but I do believe that in more than one state that we have been discriminated against. Blatantly.

I am pretty certain that any high ranking officer in the Colorado Executive Committee (don't quote me) can't nominate a presidential candidate before the Republican National Convention. If they do so they are violating their own either ByLaws or State Election Laws. I don't want to discuss this too much because it would pertain to our case in Colorado and I know there are trolls.

This alone is grounds for mis conduct. There are other things happening in all states that are discriminatory against "Ron Paul" supporters.

Some of them might be able to cling on to their own state ByLaws but there may be a chance of a civil suit.

I think we are going to have to file a multi-state lawsuit against the Republican National Committee/Party. I think it would be better if we could band together than only being able to a have a small victory locally.

They can never take back the fact that they marginalized a fellow American running for office.

We have to do this..if not just symbolic. We may have to even do it through the ACLU!! LOL!!!

Just kidding. ..ok..but seriously.

DO many lawsuits

make the GOP spend mony, lets break the GOP financially

The core complaint is conflict of interest.

Officers of the GOP at all levels are almost certainly required by their bylaws and/or constitution to be completely impartial in running their conventions during the primary season, giving no favoritism to any candidate. Only when the nominee is established by vote of the delegates does it become proper for them to close ranks around an individual candidate -- their nominee.

In order to achieve party unity, GOP officers and activists have succumbed to the temptation to line up behind a presumptive nominee, before the actual nominee has been officially determined. In doing so, they have violated the rights of not only Ron Paul, a candidate who deserves equal treatment up through the convention voting, but also the delegates and the voters who may want to learn more about his candidacy before the nominee is chosen, or hold out hope that McCain's candidacy will implode for any of a number of very plausible reasons, leaving Ron Paul as the last man officially standing (at least until Romney and/or Huckabee "unsuspend" their campaigns).

A key function of GOP conventions is to expose members to the full range of competing ideas from candidates who make it to the convention, and that function has been routinely neglected this season.

The upshot is that GOP leaders have been violating their duty under party rules to maintain official neutrality until the selection process is completed, and that damages candidates, delegates, party members, voters, and even Democrats hoping the convention will have an outcome favorable to them. That sort of violation should be subject to not only litigation, but also court injunction to prevent/stop it. I like the court injunction approach because it eliminates the delay that would inevitably postpone a resolution by trial until after the election is over.

So do you want to help me

So do you want to help me then? I want to know what to do ..or can only Ron Paul's official campaign file?

"Fed Matching Funds"

I know that the rules are two different system(s) / Parties. As well, I've seen that a democratic guy from Florida, claiming to be some sort of financial committee chair from a certain district has initiated a law suite regarding the FL delegate debacle. He remarked on a few points, such as "Fed Matching Funds" and its respective relationship to the democratic delegate nominations. What I'm interested in, is the bearing the [FEC] "federal matching funds have and their past, present and future relationship to the republican delegate issue? McCains still locked into the matching funds correct? Does anyone know anything about JM's status with the [FEC]?

What you believe too be true, is true too you... :-)

What you believe to be true, is true to you... "until you change your mind"

That would be bylaws, not bi laws,

and band together, not ban together, just so nobody is misled.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

LOL. sorry I am so tired

LOL. sorry I am so tired from our assembly not very good at editing..I will change it.

Tried to clarify a little

Tried to clarify a little better.

State Election Laws override RNC party rules? I'm pretty sure they do. This is the kind of behavior they get away with.

I'm sorry but

Could you please restate the foundation of your proposed lawsuit?
I think it has something to do with the GOP naming a "presumptive" candidate, but I assume it is something more explicit than that.

The Virtual Conspiracy

I don't know..I will try to

I don't know..I will try to find out.

good idea. do you know if judge napolitano could/would help us in this?

Ron Paul is not going to do

Ron Paul is not going to do that. We have to!!
I just was watching something about the WTO. and it was talking about the Trilateral commission.

These conventions..happened shortly after those meeting with Foley and the others that said "we have to do something about Paul"...
am NOT a conspiracy nut at all..but as you know..those were direct quotes from inside that meeting..

Well they won't stop the will of the people.

We must stand up and be AMERICANS AND DEFEND OUR RIGHTS!

It may get difficult but we have to carry on..We can't let them do this.

Can the campaign file a suit?

Theres plenty of money left!

I have a thought I keep close to my heart every day ..
"Ron Paul will win in the most spectacular way!!!"

"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd

If the ACLU were a legit

If the ACLU were a legit organization they would be sueing the RNC on their own or at least making some stink over whats going on. Just goes to show that they are nothing but anti-christian America haters. They will not help us in any way I`m afraid to say.

Ron Paul 2012

They have to have a specific

ACLU has to have a specific cause for people...these stories are not in the mainstream. I say we consider taking our chances with them as we do not have a lot of money yet...unless someone steps up.

This is HUGE. Someone may do it.

please bump people.

please bump people.

How about this, if Nevada

How about this, if Nevada has to hold their own new convention..then why can't the rest of us?

Can't we stand up with the law and say that we find the assemblies we have attended to be unconstitutional and we will hold our own?

I am speaking in legal terms?

Then if THEY want to come be with US AND PLAY FAIR!! THEY CAN!

But otherwise!! We hold our OWN assemblies.

Did we become a democracy? When did it take a majority to silence a minority. I read somewhere that one of those chairmen said" Get over it the majority ruled and thats how it is". What? Are we not a Constitutionally founded Republic. Every time I hear someone say we should unite under mccain for democracy is not living in our republic. Its a shadow mentality. The Republic is dimmed by the MSM feeding the public this idea that The United States of America is a democracy.

EXACTLY.... I cringe

EXACTLY.... I cringe everytime someone calls our form of government a "democracy" we are a Constitutional REPUBLIC!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

I've been wondering

where all the lawyers are ever since we got into this. I never realized the two parties were so "exclusive."

Freedom not corruptdom!

'I always think of all you canvassors and precinct leaders and delegates at the front line and caucuses.
Good luck out there &Thank you. You're a gift.

'I always thank of all you canvassors and precinct leaders and delegates who were at the front line and caucuses.
Good luck out there &Thank you. You're a gift.

Its happening all over the

Its happening all over the place!!

Just because they are a

Just because they are a "club" does not make them immune to discrimination laws.

It may not support some of our election laws..but there has to be a public entity that we can go after in or is...the.. Republican Party.

How do I reach Mr.

How do I reach Mr. Napilatano?

Anyone have a guess?

gathering evidence

in Idaho

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

Good hmm. We may need to

Good hmm. We may need to somehow save this thread it may get deleted. but that is ok..I will start a meetup if neccesary..just for basic information of course!!

I think this is the real

I think this is the real deal and needs to happen. I find that too many Republicans I have met don't stand up for themselves against their own party..It has to change for the party to improve. It is too corrupt because people don't challenge them...

AND if the Republican National Committee is not bound by any constitutional laws regarding elections because they are "private" then we the people of Ron Paul can become our own Republican Party and organize and send our own Republicans to the convention..

We can do this how and why? If you are stating anything about the RNC being a private orginization (I doubt this) then we can have one too.

In fact, we can have our assembly bodies when we want how we want, and all at the same time if we want to nominate Republican candidates..

Hell maybe we will have our own National Convention and Ron Paul will be the Republican Candidate after all!! :)

So I doubt they are private... but if they are we can be too!!

-Liberty Girl

I would support that.

and it makes sense to band together.

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

Any lawyers in the crowd?

What do you think?
