Post copies of the BIll of Rights around Capital, the White House, and Supreme Court

Don't know if this is a new idea but, why not tape, tie, etc... copies of the Bill of Rights around the Capital, the White House, and Supreme Court. At least my understanding of the rights endowed by our creator allows us to quietly to remind our government officials the rights given first to the people.

Unalienable rights come from our Creator. Not the Bill of Rights

This might be a good thing to post around Washington as well.

"People talk about the liberty of the Christian Church, about giving or not giving freedom to Christians. Underlying all these ideas and expressions there is some strange misconception. Freedom cannot be bestowed on or taken from a Christian or Christians. Freedom is an inalienable possession of the Christian".
"If we talk of bestowing freedom on Christians or withholding it from them, we are obviously talking not of real Christians but of people who only call themselves Christians. A Christian cannot fail to be free, because the attainment of the aim he sets before himself cannot be prevented or even hindered by anyone or anything".
Leo Tolstoy

I posted the following

I posted the following yesterday in another thread but it didn't get many replies then.

"4) Perhaps our rallies in D.C. and St. Paul will be perfect opportunities to blanket those cities with campaign literature and educational CDs and DVDs. In addition to having a march in just one area, imagine THOUSANDS of RP supporters splitting up into squads and leaving campaign lit all over those cities. Kinda reminds me of a Sun Tzu type strategy of focusing all your strength on the enemy's weak point. And it would leave a lingering blow too. We would disperse, and the D.C. locals would then consume that information. Capitol Hill would remain right down the street for them."

Didn't mean to still your thunder

The idea of splitting into smaller groups before or after the rally in St. Paul and D.C. to spread literature would be a great idea.

The Bill of rights isnt for the people

The Bill of rights is directed solely toward the government.
all ten B.O.R. mention that the government shall not, take away the god given rights of all individuals.

The Constitution does not

The Constitution does not give us rights by design--it takes them away from the government.

The Bill of rights is for the people

The Bill of rights is directed towards the government to outline the rights given to the people first, before the government was created. Because these inalienalbe rights preceded the creation of the government the document outlines the areas where the government may not inact laws that seek to limit these rights.

HOWS THIS FOR AN IDEA?

There are none so blind as those who will not see!

Good idea.

But you would probably be jailed for "terrorism", held incommunicado indefinitely, and fined for littering. If anyone in D.C. actually read it they would not be able to figure it out, or laugh at the naive attitude of the average American. We are, unfortunately, a land of open elitism at this point. ( Sorry I am so cynical).
