Steve Parent accused Alex of lying a few weeks back. It seems last night Alex set him straight calmly and rationally without insulting or lying about Steve Parent who loves to insult and lie about others.

Steve Parent seems fine to me.... he's never said anything that I've heard that I felt was offensive... if he's helping people get involved in the process then he's helping get the message out and he's helping the movement. THEREFORE he's of value....

Hey listen guys...
Steve Parent may be egotistical or believe that he is the best thing since sliced bread, but guess what, he has done a lot to help us in the delegate process. He has gotten the word out on what to do and how to do it.
I can see sometimes why people may not like him, but we should help him to be a better communicator and to be a better team player.
Just as in the real world, violence begets violence, and verbal violence begets verbal violence (say that 3 times fast).
How do we help. By respectfully pointing out the truth, the truth without malice or subversive motives. The truth stands on its own, and does not require hateful attacks.
Tell SGP respectfully, that although you admire his efforts to help the Revolution, that you are somewhat concerned by his lack of respect for other DailyPaul members.
There was once an ideal in this country, that America had the moral high ground, and I would once again love to see that ideal be realized.
But, this is only my opinion.

I run a business and build things for a living and in order to make things happen I don't and Won't walk on egg shells for anyone, I need something done I say it like it is. That's how I equate this ! don't internalize it we are all on the same page just some of us turn those pages a bit faster to get to the next paragraph. If you don't read that fast don't complain about people who do !
Just remember that we are on the same page ! stop bitching or step aside. I know Alex I've never met Steve but I do know one thing we all have the same purpose.

I know one thing...
That is that I always give people the same amount of respect that they afford me. I am not saying who is right or who is wrong, all I am saying is that if you are armed with the truth, then derogatory comments are not necessary. If someone totally disrespects you, then ignore them. If someone is hurting the Revolution, then call em out on the carpet. But so far I have not seen SGP hurt the movement. He may have ruffled a few feathers, but what is the net worth of his involvement?
I am not smart enough to determine that, but maybe other people know better.

I never kiss anyones ass and I do very well. If I ever became PC people would wonder if I had lost it. The only people who make a difference in this world are those people who don't sway from their disciplines , Why do you think I ( for the first time in my life ) support a politician. oh contrair, he remains as
oh contrair, he remains as cool as a cucumber and is often critisized for being too polite...how quickly we forget the complaints of old when the debates frustrated us all to no end and how we all thought he should have been more tough...I think on second listen and first for many it was understood that his polite nature was not of importance but more of what he said that did the job.
Diplomacyand common respect for another man...Dr. Paul does this very well and is a model to us all, one reason he is often called our leader. I doubt very much that Paul ever thinks whether or not he would be considered an ass kisser by anyone

Its not about kissing ass...
Its about teamwork to get a job done. I work in the construction industy on multi-million dollars projects everyday. There is one rule that I live by, it is to always tell the truth. If people are offended by the truth, it doesn't bother me in the least. But I never resort to childish personal attacks. If SGP has made childish personal attacks, then do not respond in kind. Aren't we adult enough to see past this playground tactic?

I own a construction company , If my life didn't depend on people who knew how to build walls without questions I would be in trouble bu there are always people on the crew who run around cleaning and doing mindless things as well. Success iss about balancing strengths and knowing how to match them to finish a product. We are all hoping to make an impression at the convention. some of us know the bussiness and some of us just help out. All I'm saying is do your part whatever that is.

You make me laugh. Frankly, I have very little concern for the GOP in it's present form - particularly after their obvious disdain for RP and his supporters and the platform we've all been trying to bring to the table.

what the hell is gonna happen in four years duh. These efforts are not futile. This fight is literally for the life of the PARTY, the GOP. Noone is dissillusioned about the election outcome as far as the nomination is concerned but to nail a guy to the wall and expect that he bury himself now that the "presumptive" nominee has been chosen is like telling the fireworks guy its gonna rain. I think he has placed himself in the position to be an easy scapegoat, every group has a scapegoat. Pin it all on him because you don't like his personality. and that is exactly what it is. If he helped just one delegate understand how better to do his job is that not enough or is that too much..we are all armchair critics at this site and so many of us regular posters have been free to insult, critique, admonish, flat out judge each other. anyone of us could be the target of this crusade. but would anyone of us do what Steve Parent has done? Most pretend they would or have.....who among you are willing to admit that you could be completely wrong......ha I'm not willing to wager a thing on this one.

I get this on a daily basis from my small fan club.
Alex has done good things but I do not agree with everything he says and i disagreed with him on this issue.
