Godlikeproductions.com (tavistock) - Friend of Dr. Paul or foe? Eerie. *MUST READ*
I know that a lot of you are split on conspiracies, and believe me, I have a hard time with many of them. But I first heard of Dr. Paul on Godlikeproductions.com (a conspiracy forum) and had always checked up on this site as "food for thought." After all, many of the posters are die-hard Paul supporters, and even though I am not quick to believe in conspiracy - I respect anybody who seeks the truth and seeks freedom.
Whether or not you believe in 9/11 conspiracies, the NWO, etc. etc. - we can all agree that our freedom is comprimised and our media is (at least in part) controlled. So I figured this was a decent site (among others) to get the occassional non-mainstream news stories.
Probably half of the posters are raving lunatics, but there has always been some great information that I was unable to find elsewhere. Once you filter out the absurd topics, you'll likely find some good information.
However, earlier this week, my opinion of this website - well, that all changed.
I did an extended search of Godlikeproductions and had found that there is very likely a connection to a company called "Tavistock".
If you look this company up, you're likely to get pretty creeped out. The Tavistock Institute developed the mass brain-washing techniques which were first used experimentally on American prisoners of war in Korea. Its experiments in crowd control methods have been widely used on the American public, a surreptitious but nevertheless outrageous assault on human freedom by modifying individual behavior through topical psychology.
So, my first instinct was that this stuff was probably bogus. But then I did a simple post entitled, "Has anbody ever google searched "Godlikeproductions" " and the body of the post was simply - "interesting"
- I was banned within 4 minutes.
Some of the banned words/phrases are "tavistock" and "jason lucas" - Lucas, apparently, is involved with Tavistock and purchased the company in 1998. He is still one of the moderators and posts under the name "Trinity".
Anyway, the reason I posted this -here- is because I have been watching forum activity for years and I know for a fact that there are posters (including here, on the Dailypaul) who aim to divide, distract, anger, allienate, etc. etc.
Forums like Godlikeproductions are likely a way of studying the reactions, the psychology, of those interested in people like Ron Paul, or simply those who could potentially pose a threat through the spreading of information.
For example, before Ron Paul was very popular at all - many Godlikeproductions members knew all about him, and were posting about him by the hour. It now seems likely that they were being analyzed from the get-go.
Over time, there was a divide between those who believe in this or that and there would be arguments, debates. Some of it seemed obviously contrived, where certain posters always seemed to show up - on cue - with obnoxious, anger-provoking comments. It wasn't like these things happened sometimes, most of the time, etc. - it was clockwork - and remains clockwork.
9/11 Conspiracy, as most of you know, is a dividing issue among Ron Paul's supporters. But there were other interesting methods and I encourage (in light of the knowledge regarding Tavistock, Jason Lucas) to use the search feature on the site to read some of the early discussions.
Having an understanding early on of what could divide Ron Paul supporters, I began to expect these tactics to show up more - on this forum, on ronpaulforums, etc. etc. And so I was not too surprised to see the media pounce on this on CNN, FoxNews, ABC, etc. etc. at critical periods in the primary process.
Jason Lucas (or, "Trinity") has written for the government in the past:

Believe me when I say that I thought it was nonsense at first too. But when I was banned for simply suggesting a google search on Godlikeproductions (after having posted there for years) I just felt the need to look into this further and share this with the good people at DailyPaul.
Anyway, it's food for thought :-)

I had heard a rumor, that this place was logging IP's for whatever purpose. Not that I care, I'm probably on a dozen lists as it is, for being an outspoken advocate of Constitutional Govt., and ridding it of the corruption.

GLP is a Unique and Special Place
eaglefly, it appears that the letter you say "Jason Lucas (or, "Trinity") wrote FOR the government, was something he wrote TO the government (the Federal Trade Commission), to express his opinion on the difference between adware and spyware. The letter seems innocuous enough, hardly a sinister piece as your post could imply.
It's true that GLP, like most forums, has an auto ban feature - I've tripped it a couple times myself before I learned the ropes, once for posting too many links in one post - but I've posted my own dissenting opinions there for years with no problem (including 30 or more posts under extolling Ron Paul and his virtues.) If one is not posting in good faith and is there to promote disinformation about the site, the mods might spot it and protect their turf. But truly, there is a is a wide lattitude given. I learned about your post from a thread and link on GLP! Over time I've gained respect and regard for the mods and the forum's rules.
During Ron Paul's presidential campaign, unlike the MSM, GLP was a treasure trove of news and insights, which I drew upon to keep my blog fresh and cutting edge. Posts like yours do contribute to Godlikeproduction's air of mystery which is part of it's appeal. The site is a blast and can be downright addicting.
Logan, it's not just auto bans
I understand your feelings, but unfortunately these aren't just auto bans. People are banned from that website all the time for merely hinting at particular topics that are, well, frowned upon. They are typically extremely touchy about controlled opposition topics (re: Alex Jones' roots). And usually the ban is within minutes or seconds of the post, no matter the time of day. Add to that the website is filled to the brim with destructive attitudes (if you compare it to when the website first came out, you'd understand) you'll begin to see the role a website like GLP plays.
When you're wrapped up in the website it is very, very hard to see because the threads in question are *deleted* so incredibly fast, that you never really get a chance to see what sort of topics they are afraid of.
The letter written by Jason Lucas ("Trinity" on the forum) wrote is most telling in that it gives away his primary business: spyware and adware. That's how he got into this game, and it just so happens that GLP is filled with that junk. And to top it off, you're not allowed to talk about spyware on the website. "Trinity" is the schizophrenic of GLP. He literally changes his opinion with ever post, and it has become obvious that he really has no opinion whatsoever. Even though he is from the UK, he has defended the U.S. (pretending he's from there, as well) while vehemently chastising people who claim we shouldn't pay the income tax. Then you'll find a thread where he'll turn around and defend the position. We've noticed this with Obama as well, he'll pin his opinion about how Obama is the antichrist, and then pin his opinion about how he is beginning to "like" Obama after all.
The point is: the website is one big psyop. It's a destructive website that prays on conspiracy-like minds and studies the habits of said individuals. Even if it weren't controlled it would prove to be counter-productive in that it is filled with obnoxious, divisive material that distracts from the real reasons for posting there in the first place.
The website is good for its "a la carte" style of conspiracy information, but for the most part, the website is trash. Every other thread displays a destructive attitude whether its obnoxiousness or divisiveness, the goals are clear: divide, distract, and discredit.

Banned from Godlikeproductions.com as well
I just signed up for an account at GLP, posted about Tavistock and was banned shortly thereafter.
Now... my guess is (as others have pointed out) that the banning part is automated. No sense in bothering a human when a program and easily be created to do such things.
But... to play the devil's advocate, are there any *non-malicious* possibilities out there regarding this behavior?
For example... perhaps the whole thing is a joke setup by the people that run GLP. It is a conspiracy site after all, and what better joke to play than to forcibly ban mention of certain words?
That's about the only non-malicious scenario I can come up with though.
Thoughts?
Oh, one more thing. Why did the author of original post mention Ron Paul? Do you suspect RP of being intertwined with GLP or Tavistock?

thank you djdevon3 could you tell us more.
This again?
I can explain in detail that my research was flawed. I apologized previously for it too.
Network Solutions which was actually the first of a very select few companies to allow domain names to be purchased. They became THE major domain registrar until a couple years ago when Go Daddy came on the scene. All other registrars were just resellers which got their domains from Network Solutions as well (commonly referred to as NetSol).
Well I've been an admin for quite some time and I'd never realized that some of Netsol's IP ranges are comming from a military base. This leads me to believe that Netsol and Ft. Leavenworth was likely one of the main core servers for the entire internet. As of a couple years ago or perhaps even originally (to my knowledge) there were only 13 root servers for the entire internet. That's probably not public knowledge unless you are a major geek like myself.
So the site in question is hosted by a host which is a reseller of netsol IP which just happen to reside at said location. Nothing is connected it was a simple research error and I have corrected my assertion.
However, I do find it quite hilarious that a purely conspiratorial site is hosted on an IP block within that location. It's ironic and funny but that's about it.

Megaphone software appears to be taboo on GLP, also
I just got a call from a buddy who says that he was banned from the website for bumping a thread entitled "do you use megaphone software?". Apparently it was a thread that they had hoped would stay buried, as it was quickly deleted and my friend's IP address was banned.
Strange. . .
I missed something in the last post
God nevermind I'm the biggest idiot. Netsol resolves to Fort Leavenworth.
Network Solutions (the first major domain name registrar) is using that IP not GodLikeProductions.
NetSol is involved with this not GLP. Sorry :( I'll shut up now.
Though it's kind of funny that they went and changed host providers anyway lol.
I believe you.
I have been on this site for a long time and noticed how there were all these questions that seem rather personal wanting to know more about us. It concerned me I tried to avoid answering the questions. Then the deliberate fighting over issues, the good cop bad cop stuff etc. Since, I'm not very good with the computer I will probably not use it as things get worse because it will be just like MSM. Besides, if our time is growing short I don't want to waste it at the computer. Peace

Dang, this learning curve
Just when I think I'm catching up on American history, understanding and being able to coherently discuss the Constitution, learning the difference between fiat FRNs and actual money, and all the other issues swirling around in this big ol' Revolution...along comes this.
I've only read the comments here, and sheesh, I saw several references that I'd never heard of before, in addition to the OP references, which were also new to me. So much yet to learn!!
With all this impending research, when is one supposed to get any sleep?

They've been busy...
Within the past couple of days I've watched these guys scramble around changing DNS records and host providers to cover their tracks. They've finally gotten it right. Now they are hidden where they'd fool anyone trying to look them up.
The host INQUENT.com is no longer their host. They are now using a box hosted in Edmonton, Canada instead of INQUENT.com (Fort Leavenworth).
They updated their DNS on June 2nd. That happens to be a proactive update before this forum topic was started and I first looked them up. That is not a normal thing. This is some pretty odd stuff and I think it's worth documenting.
There's no HONORABLE reason to hide such a thing from the public view so I'll come right out and put them on the spot. GodLikeProductions.com has connections to the Army's Electronic Warfare division. This is something that is more akin to Chinese behavior not American. They should be ashamed of themselves. In my years of being a web admin I've never heard of such dishonorable behavior especially from military personnel. They are supposed to live by honor. For christs sake that's the motto of the Marine Corps who's headquarters are right there in the same town. They are dishonorable, I'll leave it at that for them to rethink what they have done.
Also the last hop to inquent is from a company called Savvis in Sterling, VA. I thought that was a little close to whatever it was you were talking about Tavis (which I don't know or care about).
Getting all of these changes done in a couple of days is not a normal procedure. They would have had to make some serious calls to get a new host, configure the host platform, transfer data, transfer ip, etc...
This should be an eye opener here people. I've never heard of anything like this before. I would have left this alone if they hadn't tried to cover their tracks and operate from the shadows. That's exactly what's wrong with our country. Too much secrecy.
Great work, djdevon
Thanks so much for keeping an eye on that. Did you happen to take any screen shots of their recent maneuvers?
I am not very computer savvy, so I can't say that I understand all of what you wrote completely. Is there anyway you could break it down for those of us who are computer challenged? :-P
Specifically, how do you know there are connections to the Army's Electronic warfare division?
One interesting thing about GLP is how easily you can find the site with google searches. I've seen the website come up in many of my searches several times, regardless of what I'm searching for. I always thought this was strange..
