Motley can mean varied..
Young, old, male, female, black, white --- it's the left handed compliment for 'diverse'. If you are liberal you are to be commended for having a 'diverse' following, but if you are a conservative you are 'motley'. Get it?
It's the media.. just ignore them.
Connotation?
That might be the denotation, but "motley" definitely connotes "rough" or "dangerous" (Read: Stay away from those guys!). It's truly absurd.
GRRRRR!!!
GRRRR!!!
now the title of that article on their front page reads "Paul people a motley bunch". Clicking the link takes you to the same story, but they changed the title of the link on the main page. I'll bet an msnbc spy read the netzorro's comment praising the choice of words and rushed to edit it... ARGH!!

Ask.com vs Google
Some here mentioned their google search does not turn up all the major stories, and I agree. Sometimes I use Ask.com, search ron paul and hit the blue news subsection and you get a lot of different results than google. And you do not have to support Al Gore.

HOW WE CAN ENSURE A RON PAUL VICTORY
Pass this on to RP HQ and everyone you know!
1 Million Ron Paul supporters + $12 each =VICTORY
Everyone donates $12, even if you’ve given before, to the Ron Paul HQ at www.ronpaul2008.com
Ron Paul’s HQ will post our info online. Our Name / State we reside in / Our pledge to vote in our State Republican primary. This will prove that our campaign has the largest grassroots support of any candidate!
If we can’t raise enough money and get enough people to commit, Ron Paul won’t win, no matter how popular he is on the net
MSNBC is my home page and
MSNBC is my home page and when I got home today and saw Dr. Paul featured I said to myself, We've broken through the MSM wall.
Check the headline on the feature front page .
"The people powering the Paul phenomenon."
"College students, old-line conservatives, anti-globalists back contender."
Notice the key words here. "PHENOMENON and CONTENDER.
After last nights apperance on Jay Leno and all the Ron Paul supporters at the Democratic debate and now this featured spread on MSNBC I'm so pumped up I can't wait till tomorrow to put up 20 signs I made.
Also couldn't help myself and donated $25, (no lunch Thursday and Friday, hehe) Saving $100 for the 5th.
We're ROCKING now people.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs.

“It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds”
-Sam Adams
great article!!
The stupid headlines annoy me though, I'm so sick of the media's ignorance and/or bias.
What exactly is the "range" between conservatives and students?
I know it's minor but these things drive me nuts!!
Biased news list
This is a Great article---Great coverage! My complaint is with my GoogleNews list of Ron Paul "news". It doesn't even get mentioned---couldn't they find it??? They have had as many as 5 "articles" from RedState listed as news at one time but they 'miss' an article on the front page of msnbc? Right now there is an old AP article on his ads, 3 articles about illegal 'Botnets', including the ever reliable Fox News! Several blogs including one titled Pride Goeth Before Ron Paul? Now they aren't all negative but they also aren't all news! Skipping the msnbc story is rather blatant especially when the AP article on the ads is from yesterday!
Red State
Makes one wonder who's "botnetting" who. :)
Google News Has gotten better
I have a custom section for "Ron Paul" and 4 months ago all I got were "satire" articles, it was infuriating. But as the campaign has started to catch on, more and more quality write-ups are flowing through.
On Google News Yesterday
I posted this news story and another on this site yesterday, about an hour after they came out. I found them by searching "Ron Paul" in Google News. I think they are just buried within groups of stories now.
Biased Google
I have thot the same thing. I couldn't find a good contact for Google News.
I thot GN was a great thing up until lately.
Support the article
Don't forget to rate the article 5 stars and send it to all your buddies. It's on the front page because of the high views and ratings.
That's great!
What an awesome week for the Revolution!
Yup, Ron Paul, he's catching on...lol!
As much flack as the campaign got for that first NH TV ad, the fact is Ron "is catching on" with a lot of folks right now, so pretty accurate depiction.
When I saw that, I forwarded it to a number of friends who are "borderline" in their support for Ron right now. What great ammo!
I also liked the fact that along the borders of the article were various video clips you could click on and view. Now of course "we" are familiar with those already, but nice "learning curve" for the new prospects :-)
That's amazing. I just left
That's amazing.
I just left MSNBC a big complement!
