Write-in Ron Paul
We need Dr. Paul to file the paperwork that will certify him as a write-in candidate in the states that allow write-ins. Idaho is one of them and there are about 33 or 35 more states. While Dr. Paul would not be on the ballot in enough states to secure the Presidency, I'm sure he will secure enough votes to influence the direction the future President will take. Neither candidate will have enough votes to claim a mandate from the voters. Dr. Paul has said all along that he was in the race to give voters a choice of a Constitutional candidate. Unfortunately not all voters will have the opportunity to write-in Ron Paul in the general election. But we must encourage him to allow a write-in campaign. It has to be done legal or it won't count. Also most states do not allow a Primary candidate who lost to file as an Independent or third party candidate. Dr. Mary Ruwart could his VP.

if we wanted to invade a state with rp supporters
it should be iowa, houses are dirt cheap out here! i paid $27,000 for a 5 bedroom house! i see lots and lots of nice houses for under $50,000. i sold 2 houses 1 for $18,000 and the other for $12,000 and there are lots of houses in that range in the smaller towns. the fishing out here kinda sucks, but the hunting is probably the best in the country, deer and pheasant everywhere. its kinda boring out here though, but i like my peace and quiet. most people are pretty friendly. jobs are no better or worse than any where else. cost of living is really low. very low auto insurance rates and property tax rates. population is low therefore making it easier to make an impact in political decisions if we get the numbers. especially in the primaries . we are the first state to hold primaries in the country and a big win would set a pretty good momentum to win big in the following states thereafter. most people out here are politically dumb but that could be turned around if we dominated the state.

With twice the population and half the smarts of Idahoans, you would have your work cutout for you. Iowans like their farm subsidies and they are not going to vote for someone that wants to take that away.

I grew up in Bonners Ferry.
It's a great place. Typical small town life -- although not hick-ville small town. People are real people -- yet sophisticated and intellegent.
Lots of home schooling and numerous private schools (Praise Church SChool) Minnenight School, etc.
But if you want any decent shopping centers you got to go to Cour de'lane.
My wife (Amy) and I have talked about moving back to Idaho -- but to Cour de'lane (that way we're at least 90 miles away from my parents :)

I almost forgot Idaho is the best state in the nation for home schoolers. No state regulation testing etc. whatsoever. Lots of very independent folks here. We just need a few more and we would be the pearl of freedom in these united States.

All of our reps strongly support Bush and McCain and would never give Ron Paul the time of day. We have Bill Sali, Larry (bathroom) Craig, Mike Crapo and Mike Simpson as our reps. Check them out. I was pleased to see my county got 27% for RP but they sure did fail when voting for their reps. Just an Idaho opinion.
The changes will come from 2008 and on.
Because of Ron Paul, supporters have joined the Republican party, won Committeeman seats and are voting in 2008 for changes. Ron Paul Republicans (Committeeman and Representatives) are a majority in some Districts, not so in others. But, they are NOW active and will be an influence on future candidates.
Should be interesting in the years ahead.

Exactly we were focused on
Exactly we were focused on Ron Paul and learning the ropes. We had significant shake up in Ada County last night and we have a shot at replacing our state chairman . Now for the next two years we will be planning strategizing, and growing the movement here.
If we had a a couple hundred hardcore activist here we could win any race in this state for any office including governor. If we had half the activity here we had in NH Ron Paul would have won this state and we would be in control of it right now.

I would definately move to Idaho....
But consider this, Idaho was one of the last states to vote, and it seems to me that Ron Paul got bigger percentages in the last 5 states than in the other 45 states.
Why?.
I believe that most people, who rely on MSM for their information, woke up too late to vote for Ron Paul. But slowly and surely, the word is getting out, and our numbers are growing.
But I say, we can't stop now, we have got to keep the momentum going.
A Paul / Ventura Ticket is the best solution at this point.
This would give us a real chance at WINNING the Presidency and at the very least would educate millions more Americans.
Don't let the Revolution die people. We have a chance to make history.
We have to strike during this election cycle. 2012 is too late.
The time is right. The economy is tanking, Inflation is running rampant, there is talk of war with Iran, illegal immigration is out of control, taxation is higher than its ever been, and our Constitutional rights are being stripped away. We need some real change NOW. Not 4 years from now.

Sun Valley area
is where you find a lot of Liberal money. It's a resort area and mostly inconsequential (politically) to the rest of the State. Ada county (Boise) and next door Canyon County (Nampa) is where a large portion of the populace resides.
Idaho has become very diverse in recent years with the growth. I discovered Idaho over 10 years ago. Always called it a jewel in the West. It still is.
Ultimately, Idaho is what you make it. And Ron Paul supporters (and others) are working hard to make it a shining example of a slice of America that is Constitutionally strong.

Idaho is awesome!!
But I don't want any one to move there, to New Hampshire, to Paulville, or anywhere else UNLESS THEY CAN'T SURVIVE without the support of like-minded patriots.
Why?
Because we need as many patriots working in every state of the union trying to take back the Republican party and converting every voter possible into an informed patriot.
If we retreat into a single town, or even a state, we have conceded defeat and might as well move to New Zealand.
