What's with wanting Jesse

What's with wanting Jesse Ventura as Paul's running mate? Ventura has consistently ignored opportunities in the media to support Paul or even mention Paul's name in support of freedom and liberty in this country. I'd much rather have someone like Andrew Napolitano as Ron Paul's VP. He's a Constitutionalist who isn't afraid to jeopardize his job with FOX News to say he backs Paul. What does Ventura have to lose?

He seems sincere and loves his country. I would go for a Ron Paul, Jessi
Independent ticket if it had Ron Paul's platform, (not sure Jessi would go for that). They wouldn't win but they could get more votes than Perot did, which could send a very loud and clear message. People are waking up!

Thank you for your informed and intelligent response,and thank you for the you tube info. THIS is the kind of information I was looking for. We need to see what the obstacles are and face them head on.
I have only gone through a couple of the you tube videos so far.
The 802,000 signatures I think can be achieved,as well as the 500,000 dollars for paying whoever.
but
It looks as though we might have missed some deadlines to be on the ballot in some states. I am just going by the video you posted and am not 100% sure.
I will research the info you provided further. Thank you for your kind help in this matter.At least you didn't just post"It can't happen" or some other cowardly snipe. You brought forward information we can look at, and make a decision with. Others could and should learn from your style.

Well okay then, i'll continue as if i'm not crazy. lol

One argument to this joint venture is that we are short on time and long hope. So if in fact this is what the REVOLUTION wants to do we do need to start now. But not in the traditional sense.

The Paul campaign should stay-the-course. But money for the general election can start being pooled now. Perhaps not actually but certainly metephoricly. We need a network of sites triangulating and pushing this idea.

Jesse looks into the CNN camera and says "what about building 7?" With his background in demolition and forthright manner of plain speak, he is very believable. One thing I did notice and I know the MSM knows it if I noticed it was Jesse kind of shakes a little, like he has early stages of Parkinson's or something and the MSM might make hay out of it if he runs Independent.

I like him, he's a patriot and I think he would compliment the ticket as Dr. Paul's VP.

He actually rocks forward and back. It could a number of things. Could be nerves. Could be anticipation. Perhaps he is having a hard time relaxing. Speaking to the issues without just blowing up at the commentator or tipping his hand too much. IDK, he doesn't do that in every video.

So the criteria is for him to have mentioned RP on every TV appearance he has made? That is not very fair,is it?
He is new to the revolution. For God sakes the guy has been living in the backwoods of Baja Mexico. He still has some things to learn,and there is no better person to teach him than RP.
I believe that if Jesse had more history on RP and how he has stood for principles all these years,he would love and respect him as we do.
These two coming together is the most powerful thing that could happen to the revolution in the short amount of time we have to turn this corruption back.
I don't want to waste my vote or not vote at all. I want to see RP in the WH in 2008.
Cut the guy some slack will ya? It's not like he worked for the CIA or voted for the patriot act.

I believe the situation is such that if he aligned himself with Paul prior to the September convention he is risking being shutout and marginalized. If he can be his own man and command his own presence then support for him is more likely to actaully be for him as opposed to being associated with Paul. The public at large needs to like Jessie for Jessie.

The media largley considers Paul to be out and when they ask Jessie about the candidates they don't include Paul. So Jessie has cart blanche to in his own way marginalize the frontrunners with blanket statements. Like, out of ALL(frontrunners) of them it doesn't matter which one is elected in November. If he openly aligns himself with Paul as in that's where he will cast his support now. They'll quit asking him what he thinks. As long as he remains somewhat vague they'll keep asking him questions and he can keep honing his skills as a speaker to the MSM and it's audience.

The MSM wants to know something that can't posibly know and the suspense is killing them. With regards to Paul it's wether or not Paul will remain a threat after September. With Jessie it's, "what are you doing here?", "Please reveal your secrets because we in the MSM cannot simply come out and ask you if you are setting the stage for the REVOLUTION to take over after September?", "Are we going to have to deal with you this year or in 2012?"

My thought is that Jessie is trying to, "Wake the lemmings". Get them to come out and withhold consent and vote NOTA if you simply do not approve of the choices as opposed to withholding your vote all together. It would a universal protest vote and it is the only vote that, 1) doesn't divide the REVOLUTION. 2) caps support of frontrunners by the casual voter who is generally not happy with the status quo. 3) splits the votes of the frontrunners whos opposing ideologies clash within their own party.

Now because a write-in of NOTA without proper voter consent legislation in place. The vote is non-binding and means nothing. Since NOTA cannot take office I doubt that they will just not count the NOTA votes. At that point i'm sure they would be quite curious andbesides that these are vote that someone could have/ should have got but failed to convince them they were worth a damn.

If enough NOTA votes were cast by those that would not support Paul anyway. Then you could see McBama's numbers drop and if we have a vehicle in the November election and a unified voter block we can win with as little as 26 percent of the vote.

"Competition is sin" and what they fear most is what they do not control. NOTA cannot be bought off. Isn't scared of harsh critisism. Always votes principle. Never taken a government payed junket. Won't be caught screwing interns or soliciting sex in an airport restroom.

None of us will hold our noses to vote for McCain but bare in mind that the Democrats control both the House and Senate. With Bama in the WH there will be nothing stopping them from running roughshot over the system. Unless of course they happen to loose a bunch of seats.

My thought is that we should be looking to split the Democrats vote and Jessie might be able to do that with NOTA.

The first time I heard Paul

The first time I heard Paul speak in a debate i was like, "Holy Sh!t" "Is this guy for real?!" I could hardly believe some truth-to-power was being spoken in a Republican debate. This is exactly what was needed to me. I finally had someone I could get behind. But I just didn't know if it was real. It wasn't until I went to see Paul in person that I said, "Okay, Paul is a real living breathing person, my eyes haven't decieved me."

Jessie speaks truth-to-power and he continues to grow on me daily. The prospect of this as a team not only excites me but makes me question the current circumstance as I did when I first heard Paul speak. I ask myself again, "Is this for real?" Well this one is harder to answer because the national convention is still a ways off.

Still though something I had not before was a sequence of seemingly unrelated events that drive me mad as opposed to make me mad.

First Paul is introduced releasing me of my apathy. Then i'm hurled into this rEVOLution thingy. I watch endless documentaries on the issues that we face today. The end of Zeitgeist has a caption that states, "The REVOLUTION is now" Zeitgeist2: Addendum comes out right after the September convention. Paul says no 3rd party run to protect the House seat. JV comes out in favor of "None of the Above" in regards to the frontrunners. When asked if he would be Pauls VP says, "...or would he be mine?" He releases a book called, "Don't start the REVOLUTION without me". Then I got privy to Voter consent legislation threw NOTA and the repercussions thereof.

Is this just coincidence? Is it real? Is this all part of the same wave function?

Ventura/Paul videos are increasing and NOTA sentiment is high. If Jessie ran he'd be the only one with previous executive experience. We have not been in the habit of electing Senators and Congressmen. We tend to elect Governors.

Alex Jones said, "My liberty depends on your liberty." Principly, liberty is symbiotic. I believe a Ventura/Paul ticket would be symbiotic aswell.

I think it is about as real as it is ever going to get. Jesse ran and won governor on his view points. Ron Paul you know is real. What part seems unreal to you.

If you mean, will it work, that is a different question. I still have not figured out if all the questions connected with this have been ironed out. But more importantly, where do Ron Paul and Jesse Venura stand on this issue. We may know Monday because Ron Paul is suppose to put out another video according to grannies.
