I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY SANE PERSON LEFT
Submitted by yoAdrian on Thu, 11/01/2007 - 07:06Hello guys, I posted my first comment last night with a concern about where he stood on an issue instead of being attacked about it, i recieved smart points of views and i thank you. It shows the quality of the people here. Being a former Marine Sgt i have always been a, to the point, no mixing words kind of person. Republicans have been about curruption, money, special interest and forcing there religious beliefs on others and the Democrates seem to be weak. currupt and willing to let my brothers in arms die so they do not rock the boat for an election, instead of impeaching these criminals we have in office. I believe you can not heal the wound without stopping the bleeding and our constitution is bleeding. I AM NOT a democrate or a republican but an American. We all do not agree on all the issues, abortion, gays, etc, but how the heck can we deal with these sub- issues without cleaning up washington of special interest and fixing what they broke in our Constitution. I will be kicking in $150. on nov 5 to support this man he seems to be the only one who gives a dam about our Constitution and what it says. Semper Fi

The only reason I clicked this string is because your post was in caps.
I would guess 95% of the posts are RP supporters. The other candidates have trouble getting people to their own sites, much less going to the sites of "long shots" just to annoy their supporters.

The newest angle of attack seems to be questioning Ron Paul's resolve on the Iraq war and BRINGING OUR TROOPS HOME!
Ron Paul has been adamant on this issue, and I am bewildered by the doubts expressed. I think any footage of Ron Paul, especially his early speeches on the House floor when the war first broke out, should be archived. It seems alot of videos are being pulled from youtube now for "user violation."
It is extremely beneficial to this campaign to have support from the military. I am very grateful for your comments. I hope the upcoming rally in Philadelphia will show the country that Ron Paul is firm on this issue and means it when he says he will end our overseas occupation in Iraq and much of the rest of the world within 6 months of taking office as President of the United States.

Thank you for your service to our country. All Americans owe a debt to our veterans and active military by electing Ron Paul. He is the ONLY candidate that values their lives.
Claiming the Constitution is outdated is equal to declaring the Bible too old a book to read.
I agree completely.
I have great respect for those who choose to serve in the military and great disdain for those who direct them. I think it is one of the most telling crimes of recent times that the military has been taking pay cuts and veterans have been abused left and right. This is one of the areas where Ron Paul stands the strongest. I hope he wins and provides care for all of our veterans and responsible direction for the active military!
