The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!
Oh this should be good
Bill o'reilly although he's a pice of human garbage is really good at what he does . I hope Dennis goes in ready for anything. I hate when Billo tells people to shut up, If he said it to me I'd have to drop him where he stood.

Gods that was so weak
DK was so meek and mild Bildo didn't even have to get riled up at him. That wasn't holding his own, that was a full retreat. A retreat while begging for mercy no less! "Oh gee Bill, don't hit me, we agree on your pathetic gas price controls!"
Why is Kucinich such a joke on economics??
He is so uneducated it is not even funny.
Someone get him Henry Hazlitt's book!
Haste makes waste / why debate?
Timing is interesting?

See and hear at about 14:45 http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/327.html as it relates to DK's ARTICLE XXIX.—Conspiracy to violate the Voting Rights Act of 1965

neat-o
DK has to guts to defend his 35 articles to Bill-O but not the guts to actually vote "aye". How can he then criticize ANYone when it gets voted out?. So bush has an asterisk next to his name in history. What does he care? small price to pay for "mission accomplished".
Defend Articles? Shelve 'em? Or both??
Well, evidently, I am slow on the up-take here. Please bear with me, and enlighten if you can.
Kucinich presents these 35 articles of impeachment on the House floor. There's a move to pass it along to the Judiciary Committee. Kucinich (and all Democrats, plus a handful of Republicans, including RP) vote "yea" to pass it along. Most Republicans vote "nea", reportedly because rather than send this to Committee, they wanted to immediately bring up the vote on the House floor. The "yea"s have it, and off it goes to the Judiciary Committee.
But by referring this to Committee, the articles are effectively deep-sixed, and no action will be taken on them prior to Bush's departure from office, just as was the case with Kucinich's impeachment case against Cheney. Apparently, no Democrat (Kucinich included) is surprised at this; to the contrary, this is specifically where they wanted the bill to go -- they did not want the articles brought to the floor for debate and/or an immediate vote.
So Kucinich's reason for bringing these up at all was...what? And the reason RP voted for it to go to Committee rather than bring it to an immediate vote was...what?
Sorry if I'm thick; I really don't understand this, and would appreciate clarification. I can only imagine I've got part of this story wrong and/or am simply missing something obvious.
Of course, it might have something to do with this, which is something I myself had also considered, as soon as I heard about Kucinich's proposal to impeach Bush. But if that's the reason for sending the bill bye-bye, then again, I have to ask: why bother with making the proposal in the first place?
Perhaps the obvious thing I'm missing is that Congress is the land of Jabberwocky.
It feels like these bozos are trying to sell us that scene from
On Golden Pond where Henry Fonda and the boy FINALLY get the elusive fish on the line and in a touching moment of warmth and compassion just decide to..."let it go, son". I read this as a cry for help from our officials. Its in writing. PUSH it. Dont let it get deep-sixed. If we cant physically remove these criminals we need to INSIST that this impeachment is adressed. Anyone who can read those 35 items and not vote to impeach NEEDS to be veiwed as guilty by association and impeached as well. They will not get more support from the American people on ANY other issue. This crap is soo telling of how deep the corruption in this country actually goes.
Okay; but...but...
:perplexed expression:
...RP voted to send it to Committee (and a certain death), too. Meaning, he did not vote to begin a debate, nor to begin the immediate impeachment voting process. Nor did Kucinich, who brought these articles up in the first place.
???
I'm so confused...
I just saw it.
Dennis is even smarter than I thought he was. Even though I don't agree with him on his policies, he can hold his own against O'Reilly.

Did he
explain why he didn't vote for articles to go to committee?
Kucinich DID vote for the articles to go to Committee
...where it will die a certain, quiet death.
This, instead of voting for it to go to the floor for a vote. As I stated above, I am completely perplexed about this whole issue, and why Kucinich would bring it up just to shelve it.
And...I would love to hear RP's own reasoning for sending it to Committee rather than bringing the articles to an immediate vote on the House floor, too.
I just still don't get this.
Will it die?
What if some of the evidence names Mr House Judiciary Commitee Chairman John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI).

Of all the Dems
I liked DK the best. But im really disappointed that he didnt vote for his own motion. How can he in the future complain when the Repubs vote with their party instead of with their own conscience if he does the same thing? He'd likely say "well- we had the votes to move it to the next level- so as a matter of strategy I voted party" I HATE that kind of sh*t. ITS HIS ARTICLES! In my opinion he totally neutered it by expressing that there are justified political positioning reasons for one to beleive "yea" but vote "naye". And watch- the majority will plead the Kucinich defense and it will die. Way to throw us a bone Dennis.
goood points..

O'Reilly is such a (excuse my language) prick. He won't even listen to Kucinich. Typical I guess.
Awesome, Go Dennis! Can someone get this on Youtube?
I think he'll do well. He always seem to be in a state of calmness.
I don't get Fox News--can someone record and put on Youtube?
