I didn't click on that URL, 'cause I smelt' horrid...
Habit4ming, I bet I have lots more (plus scary?) books, but don't read 'em as much as you... (I miss those Loompanics Book catalogs... e.g., anything new from "Policeman's Not Your Friend" - Ned Beaumont?).
Ditto for me on detecting/suspecting "pseudo debate multi-posters". Great opportunity for disinfo and gaslighting since these walls do have ears.
Ron Paul is our president!
if we want it...........
who has the real power?
We do!
get to work.....you know what to do.

That was a horrible link...
I don't know what's wrong with that page/article, but it did not work correctly on my computer...It wouldn't let me scroll properly, etc...
Anyway, I have a comment...one that I've been thinking about for awhile, but kept to myself....
I love books; I own about 750-800 books; I read every day of my life; if there is one thing that EASILY captures my attention, it is writing style. For some time now, without mentioning names, it has come to my attention that certain people on here, using different names, are the same people. They appear to have debates with one another. In reality, it's one person doing all the "debate"...you don't fool me....

This BillyDee character is pretty easy to see. But I am wondering about rhino and minarchist. If someone is doing that ,it is just pretty strange.hmm
but please ,don't let my thinking you're strange keep you from revealing your real identity.Let us know or we will be forced to investigate. It's OK, If you have multiple personality disorder. I have turrets syndrome.

I've noticed that too
and wondered if there are three people on this thread talking to themselves? Feeding one another questions and intros and then answering themselves...what a hoot. All Bob Barr shrills.
look at the picture
Out of all the pictures they could have used, they pick one that suggests he is putting his thumb to his nose and taunting them. Why does every media outlet pick the worst pictures of Dr. Paul?

"He never had a shot at the nomination"(???)
In WSJ's article by Susan Davis: "Ron Paul's New Campaign: A Potent Force in the Fall?",
"Paul's exit from the race was just a formality. He never had a shot at the nomination..."
This seems like the same old, same old establishment press corralling our way of thinking. These kind of comments belong in the editorial page. Or maybe that is what their entire rag is. An editorial page.
wrote him in in 2008, electing him in 2012.

It's true
The likelihood of Paul ever getting the nomination was extremely small. I donated and campaigned for him, fully expecting he wasnt going to become president. He didn't expect he would be president either. His campaign was just a platform to spread the freedom philosophy, and influence the debate. As he kept reminding us throughout the campaign, "It's about the message" because some people were setting themselves up with unrealistic expectations.
It's the same for Barr. It's about the message. No one in their right mind would expect either Paul or Barr to win. Americans are not ready for a libertarian president yet. Suveys show around 15-20% of Americans have libertarian views. That doesn't win elections. It influences elections, sure, but a candidate representing those views is extremely unlikely to win.
I don't believe
that you donated and campaigned for him. I don't like one thing that comes off your finger tips.

I don't believe
that mole either.
everyone had a shot
It's easy to say in retrospect that he never had a shot.
But a year ago though of course it was highly unlikely that he could actually win, and winning was clearly not the primary purpose of his campaign, I don't think it's fair to say the he did not have a shot. But yes, the likelihood of getting the nomination was extremely small.
So yes, it is merely a formality because the primary purpose of the new campaign is the same as the old campaign: spread the message of freedom. And that is the same purpose of the Barr campaign.
But people who can be convinced 9/11 was an inside job and that Creationism is science are so out of touch with reality at so many levels it is not surprising they cannot grasp the concept of the campaigns for liberty either.
The whole point of the campaign for liberty is to support pro-liberty candidates like Bob Barr regardless of the office they happen to be running for.
I, for one, will not be surprised if the CFL channels some of its funding towards Bob Barr.

Minarchism
track
Yes
and there is a reason McCain and Obama are the nominees: They represent the views of the average American, unfortunately.
One thing great about the Barr, campaign BTW, is I think the Truthers will stay away from him. Truthers are the kiss of death for a candidate.
Obama perhaps, but McCain for sure is NOT
representing the views of the average American. Both candidates are the anointed ones by the bankers, the establishment, the government in the shadow!!
McCain is sucking up so fervently he loses credibility by the day (that is, if he had any to start with).
Obama will be a servant of the Zionistic forcetoo and will do whatever they want him to do. If not, he'll be out before he can blink an eye.
And your trolling for Barr and anti truthers stuff... sell it elsewhere, you make yourself laughable.
We Did Have Success...
Old Rudy was the original "Chosen" and "Anointed One" that the media such as Fox was pushing on us really hard... that well used phrase "America Mayor" kept getting hammered.
Thankfully forces from all sides ( and a few Ron Paul sign waves later ) we the people put that donkey Rudy out of it's misery.

No They Do not ,,
Those two represent the preferences of the average American media outlet who through constant repetition KNOW FOR FACT that their preferences will become transposed onto the average (pre-occupied or just plain LAZY) American.
When politicians are free to debate issues and not participate in coreographed corronations than we will finaly know what the average American actually thinks. Until then it is safer to assume that they are not thinking at all.
What came first?
The chicken or the egg? The media reflects popular views as much as it shapes them, and popular views reflect the media as much as it shapes the media.
Neither, both a catalyst and
Neither, both a catalyst and intervention are required to produce both chicken and egg. Or an event takes place and psy ops curb both popular view and media.
Try this one. When you turn the key to your ignition. Your battery sends current to your starter. Turning the crank to fire spark, igniting fuel, and pushing pistons. Once the engine is running... The starter is no longer required.

The chicke came first of course.
How do I know the chicken came first? That's easy, the Bible tells us so!
The Bible also tells us that all things are possible to him who believes.
I believe!

Believe what you will ..
But ...
With experience you will gain a sense of instictively knowing when you are being led someplace by the nose. In the sense of the general public, it becomes obvious strictly by the absolute lack of any depth to their support and a complete adherance to the exact talking points being spouted by mass media at any given time. Am I mistaken or isnt this the US election that will best be remembered as the one shaped by Oprah?
Yeah..we are scaring them
Yeah..we are scaring them all. Too bad they would only post this on the internet..AGAIN. I told them soon we would have our own news sources, and they are going down..
