56 users and 251 guests WHY?

I always see the number of guests VASTLY outnumber the people that have joined in the discussion.
If you are a guest? Then BE MY GUEST and join in. We want to hear what you have to say. What are your suggestions?
Are you going to be a spectator or a player?
The number should be 251 users and 56 guests.

Lighten-up Ignoranceisbliss , you're worried about nothing!

I come here at least twice a day and sometimes three or four times, simply to catch-up on any updated issue.

99% of the time I do not Log-In, because I have nothing to add, since my thoughts on the subject usually have been voiced already. So lighten-up my friend, you're worried about nothing.

who cares

I log in when I do and don't when I do not. Get a life.

Love the DP!

I'm a newbie and feel very welcome here. It is such a fast paced site with lots of discussion and a good fight now and then. This is democracy at it's best!

Some like to watch (guest), and some like to talk (users). There are some very smart people here so it is a bit intimidating to jump in (for an uneducated guy like me) but, I do because I have to. The time is NOW to take America back and I will make a difference, we will make a difference.

50,000 members in the C4L already? This Revolution is just getting started.

I have found in life

That when people are silent and everyone else is expressing themselves, the silent ones are usually not thinking positive thoughts. Having an open heart and wanting to join in is far more positive, even if you are expressing something controversial. So my guess is, we have a lot of people looking for dirt, or looking for something to dispute with another friend/fo off the site, looking for amunition to say how nuts we are. That's ok, I'll bet we have some converts too from this group.

no doubt it

I think it's because people are already saying what they're already thinking and they don't have anything to add.

I do wonder if the FBI 'monitor' this site.

I would beg to differ. I

I would beg to differ. I would hope that a lot of these "guests" are people who are new to the Revolution and are taking in the vast amount of information that is available here. New people are not likely to jump in and state opinions, especially when the information presented here can so completely overturn the paradigm they once accepted as reality. Doesn't everyone think they know it all until they take the red pill?

Nothing is wrong with ME. I

Nothing is wrong with ME. I come to the site all the time, but haven't signed in in a while.
I haven't posted on here in months. The reason for that is ...posting and being called a troll endlessly is not productive, posting and being engaged by truthers in an aggressive manner is not productive, etc.
I will continue to sit back, for the most part, and observe dailypaul.com, thank you.

Hi Ivor,

This is good enough for its own thread, maybe you want to make one up and perhaps al;so include the other EU issues floating around as well.

Freedom Rules!

For some irrational or maybe rational reason

establishing myself as a member on any site by entering my email address is always a difficult decision.

Being a freedom lover since birth, it was an easy choice for me.

But what if ....

We all have our roles.

rhino...I agree..

but if you set up an untraceable email address using user names and info. that cant com back to you, you should be ok...

untraceable email

For everyone except the government. There is nowhere to hide, nowhere to run anymore.

Voluntary Association + Mutual Cooperation + 110% Personal Responsibility = 100% Individual Liberty

Voluntary Association + Mutual Cooperation + 110% Personal Responsibility = 100% Individual Liberty

Like I said ...

maybe irrational.

We all have our roles.

THE Guests fall into roughly 2 categories...

those who are afraid to participate(for whatever reasons)

and the handful of neocon trolls that monitor what the freedom loving Americans are doing/planning etc...

At least

folks are looking in and learning. Learn first, talk later. I add enough inane stuff to DP; we sure don't need 251 more people adding the same (makes it all the harder to get to the good stuff)!!

Every website which displays

Every website which displays guests vs registered always has more guests. It's like window shopping. Just 'cause I go to the obamaforums doesn't mean I want to register and hyper-inflate his "support" numbers....

Daily Guest at DP

I probably spend a total of 1 hour a day at the DP and I have an account here but I dont usually login because I am not from USA and really dont wanna meddle in foreign affairs.

For me Ron Paul is my leader, he is the last true hope for not just USA but for all of the world.

So maybe all the guests are not from USA and maybe some of the guests like me has an account but just dont login.

Yours would be

my favorite kind of post to read. I love to hear what people outside the US have to say and what your perspective is and what your needs are. I especially like it if they are Ron Paul people. Your thought that he is "true hope for not just the USA but for all the world," is exactly the reason that I won't turn lose of his being elected president until every single hope is exhausted. And I am not there yet.

I'm guilty

I've been coming for I don't know how many months. I tried to make an account but it wasn't working. I come here 5 times a day at least. It's one of my crucial websites to visit. The information and topics of discussion here are great. I was a Mitt Romney guy, looking for someone to go by the constitution, and then was introduced to Paul by a few people. I am excited theres finally someone worthy of sitting at the table with our founding fathers fighting for this country in 2008. I'd like to see Ron Paul and Dean Kamen create a new state for us to live in.

I have not seen your name

so glad to see someone new , and who is Dean Kamen? This is the point where we look to people who think in the same terms of Ron Paul. Maybe you could tell us more about him. We are all looking for people everywhere who will abide by the Constitution. Not a difficult or complicated commitment but very simple. So happy to have your input.

You are welcome to join the discussion at any time friend. I, for one, would love to hear your perspective from outside the U.S.! Thanks for posting and being a part of the freedom movement!

"The casualty of partisanship is objectivity."

relax. There are something

relax.

There are something called spiderbots.

Yahoo, Google, MSN, ASK, and many other search engines send out these spider bots to crawl websites and organize content so that when you type in a search term or phrase they can accurately lead to a website that you may be looking for. How do you think google leads people to dailypaul who've never heard of it before.

Sometimes there can be upwards of several hundred spiderbots on one website. So relax and dont jump to conclusions. Take a minute and educate yourself. Sorta like 9/11 where the buildings fell and everyone just assumed it was the planes that where the cause...

I reserve the right to govern myself.

sorry, I just can't see how most of the "guests" are spider bots

but I am willing to listen to what you have to say ,as I am not an expert in spider bots or SEO.
How many spiderbots do these guys need?!?

I am speaking to the people that lurk in the shadows and never get involved, not to the "spiderbots"

Active Support does not equal signing in to this site

The kind of activity and commitment needed is not more RP supporters writing blogs or making themselves heard on the internet. If that was the criteria for success, Dr Paul would be on the way to the White House. What is needed is a longer view and hard work, and votes, to transform the political environment. What is needed is not merely changing a few issues in the heart of America. What is needed is changing the very conversation and vocabulary.

So yah, you got me to sign in instead of just reading. But I don't think that Ron Paul is any closer to the White House nor that the movement has been supported by this act.

I encourage all to instead focus their efforts in getting involved in such organizations such as the Republican Liberty Caucus (www.rlc.org), in order to make real change. Don't worry about signing in to this site, unless you just want to.
