Mrs. Carol Paul
has also referred to it in the recent radio interview. Apart from money, Mrs. Davenport and her children also need care and outreach, e.g. local meetup groups to visit her, give her some food perhaps, flowers etc. and connect with her family and see how she can get some income and orientation for the future. Feel sooo sorry for her, especially at such a young age and with the shock.

My question is what about the goal?
Can the Chip in have a goal-like how much money is needed for the next six months or how much money is needed for the next year. Can we get some information from the people involved rather than people who want to help out the people involved? My heart goes out to them. It is important for the people who are asking for money to tell us some details rather than leaving us without a paddle to swim towards.

I'm willing to take any suggestions on a goal.
I heard from Dani and as of this past Sunday sent her all the donations thus far (around $1300.)
As far as a goal goes, I'm not qualified to determine what that should be nor how to go about determining it. Plus, the widget on the chip-in does not function very well. Donations to date are around $1400 with about 40 contributions, and many people donated directly to her rather than go the chip-in route.
She has stated that her bills are paid through August, if that helps.

Freedom lovers in need
The Ron Paul family received some truly sad news yesterday. Eric Davenport, one of the Presidential Campaign’s most important volunteers, was tragically killed in a traffic accident over the weekend. Eric and his young wife, Danielle, spent countless hours working in the South Florida RP ‘08 headquarters. Together, they made hundreds of calls, stuffed thousands of envelopes and walked neighborhoods tirelessly supporting liberty. They even took an extended leave of absence from their jobs so they could support Dr. Paul full time.
The Davenport’s committment to the campaign was hard on the families pocketbook, and Eric’s untimely death leaves Danielle and their two small boys facing tremendous financial hardship. We can’t bring Eric back, but we can help these good people in their time of need.
Dr. Paul and Carol today sent Danielle a personal check. This money is a nice start, but your help is also needed. Any contribution, large or small, would be tremendously appreciated.
For privacies sake, I am not posting the families address on our website. Please either mail contributions to 837 West Plantation Drive, Clute, TX 77531 and we will forward them, or call our office at 979-265-3034 to get the address from our staff. Checks should be made out to Danielle Davenport.
