So what's the problem?
I've been repeatedly assured by the anti-truthers on this board over the last few weeks that eveything is A-OK , and that they would never do anything to hurt us in any way.
Occam's Razor would say that they are doing this for the reasons that they state only, and there's nothing nefarious behind it. If there was any conspiracy behind it, how could all those people involved ever be able to keep it a secret? Impossible.
I'm sure that this is all just for our own good, and for our protection from the "evil ones" who hate us because we are free and because we are good.
I mean, what other reason could there be for it?
If you doubt me, then provide incontrovertible proof that reaches levels of metaphysical certitude or I won't believe you.
These kinds of nonsensical conspiracy theories really embarrass us and our movement publicly, and need to stop. It makes us look like kooks.

There is very little time as you have 90 days only to write a plan to/not to implement.
This Directive is nothing less than a declaration of war upon the citizens of Indiana and the citizens of the United States. PLEASE set the example here and declare this Presidential Directive unconstitutional and send the President a refusal of implementation as it directly violates the Constitution of The United States and the Constitution of Indiana.
Someone has to stop this before it is too late. Please be that example and protect the citizens of Indiana.

I don't think $14 million was a very cost effective way to collect biometric data from a category of individuals. What will they use next time?

That's what is scary.
The directive is not only aimed at collecting biometrics from terrorists, but also states that, "...other persons who may pose a threat to national security."
So what will deterimine if someone poses a thread to national security?
It goes on to state, "...persons for whom there is an articulable and reasonable basis for suspicion that they pose a threat to national security."
Articulable and reasonable basis for suspicion?
Oh yeah, that sounds reliable! People can come up with an articulate and reasonable basis for suspicion of almost anything.

I wrote my congressman, but I don't think there's anything they can or will do about it (except Paul) because if the president declares a "State of Emergency" that overides any say the congress has.
