9/11 Truth, Aliens, Conspiracy Theory, and the Ron Paul Movement

One thing I've noticed over the past year or so is that even Ron Paul's supporters are divided over these topics. I feel strongly that the "truth" movement really hurt us early on, though they were partly responsible for the initial success, so you win some and lose some I guess...The thing that bothers me is that we support a message of freedom and tolerance and yet most humans do little in their life to actually perpetuate them. Be it right or wrong the first thing that came to mind when watching the press and my ignorant neighbors rail on Dr. Paul was Jesus Christ. He comes to earth preaching tolerance and love and we tortured, belittled, and crucified him as fast as we could. I just want people to stop and think about the way we've probably all treated people outside the norm or people who hold "wild" beliefs. As a species, we fear change, we fear abnormality, and we fear anything that makes us think the views we've held for so long just might be sillier than the "conspiracy nut". I don't belive the government account of 911 and I don't belive the "truthers" either. The real fact is, we don't know 100% what happened, and we most likely will never know. It's the same with the Kennedy assassination, though I'd love to know....lol...I'm sorry it took so long to really come to the point but the point is as follows........When I was 9, I knew everything. When I was 19, I knew everything and I was sure of everything. I'm going on 29 now and I realize I can't even begin to comprehend what I don't know and to be so sure of things I can't confirm is the quickest way to ensure that I'll always be wrong. Respect your brothers and sisters in this movement. Respect their opinions, especially if they are different than yours. Protect your friends and family. Lastly, remember that the constitution, as wonderful and awe inspiring as it is, is just paper and words. You can only be free when you choose to accept the consequences of freedom and at that point, you don't need a document to guarantee anything. Peace to all of you my friends.
