Help stop warantless wiretapping TODAY
Submitted by AmericaAmerica on Tue, 06/17/2008 - 16:11Constitutional lawyer and Salon.com blogger Glenn Greenwald has been posting the past couple days about an attempt by the Democratic leadership in Congress to get a FISA update "compromise" bill passed that includes telecom immunity. This is no compromise and will serve only to protect the lawbreakers and their enablers.

As Glenn says in his most recent post:
All the money raised will be spent exclusively on ad campaigns aimed at the short-term vulnerabilities of those in Congress responsible for delivering this indescribably tyrannical package of surveillance powers to the President and the accompanying corrupt gift to lawbreaking telecoms.
And call House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and tell him the Fourth Amendment is there for a reason and those entities that chose to violate it must be held accountable, (202) 225-4131.
