Boumediene v. Bush

When politicians whine that they need more power, assume that they want to use that power against YOU. Dr. Paul has made it clear that no matter who is in power, that power must be limited or our liberty is at risk.
Some folks still don't get it, and are decrying the recent Supreme Court decision that allowed terrorist SUSPECTS to enjoy basic civil rights. Here's a voice in favor of the recent Boumediene v. Bush Supreme Court decision.

Awesome commentary! Must Read!
The only thing that I would disagree with this article is that the writer is not on the unpopular side of this controversy.
It's the NeoCons and Fox News that are on the unpopular side and they are the ones on the wrong side of humanity and history.
People intuitively know that one is innocent until proven guilty. Locking up people suspected of being "terrorists" does not make them so.
They also know deep down that a real "terrorist" is not that much different than a murderer.
When the United States drops its precision bombs in Afghanistan and Iraq and kills innocent men, women and children--why is it called "collateral damage" as opposed to state-enabled "terrorism"?
Funny things....
