Though you might be from a foreign country you are not so much from our hearts.I would like to hear from our brothers and sisters from other parts of the world on where you are from and how you heard the message of Dr Paul please post.

Texas!!
Welcome to the Revolution, one and all!!
Darn!
... I'm not the first Dutch guy posting here! Missed my chance.
Anyway, I'm following all developments on a daily basis since about one year. Have been libertarian longer. As I get all of BBC, Dutch news, CNN, Fox and AlYazeera, the thing that intrigued me most is the huge bias of US media. I do know a bit about NLP - just the basics, so I can clearly see what you're up against. It's almost as if winning the election one day will not happen unless any non-MSM news channel becomes available as reference for sane America... Of course in Holland almost noone heard of Ron Paul at all, most people believe Obama should win over here because he would be anti-war and helping the poor (so... more European). Nice to see the progress of your movement!

By the way...this thread reminds me of our efforts to find American Paulites at the Munich Oktoberfest in 07...Here is the video:

Perhaps we will find some more next time (september 08)!

That looked like so much fun. I wish I had been there. It says a lot when there were more people from there that knew about Ron Paul then the Americans you were talking to. That's our MSM for you. You were really patient with the one guy who just couldn't understand what you were telling him; maybe he had too much beer. Very funny. I would love to go this year. Remind us later about it.
Czech Republic
There was a short article about Ron on one web in the end of 2007. I don't know why but I started googling Ron Paul few weeks later, discovered Dailypaul.com and since then I'm totally lost. It was like somebody came to me gave me a smack and told me: "wake up". I think I don't have to explain it deeply ;).
I started reading this web on daily basis and was here literally 24/7 around Super Tuesday. Since than I calmed down a little bit but I'm different man now - I learned new skills like using 'honest' and 'politician' in one sentence without laughing, for example.
Indian in Chicago
I'm from India but, I live in Chicago now...I came here before my IT job traveled across the seas looking for me. ;).
We (Indians) have been preaching non-violence to the world from the times of the great emperor Ashoka (304 BC) to the times of Gandhi in this century. Having this heritage in me helped me understand Dr. Paul's Peace message, rather quickly. People who believed in the message of Ashoka (Please Wikipedia this great man if you've never heard of him) and Gandhi changed the course of our nation and humanity. It's up to us to spread the rLOVEution.
"We can achieve much more in Peace than we ever will with Violence "- Ron Paul.
r3VOLution Continues...
Quite impressive
There are people on this thread from:
Canada
France
Florida (if you wish, Pdubya)
Scotland
Germany
Australia
India (wow)
Sweden
Brazil
Poland
British Isles (limeyforliberty was a wee bit unspecific)
United Kingdom
Netherlands
Hope I forget no one! Ups,
USA, sorry
And I know instantly there are Paulists from Chile, Spain, Portugal, Czechia, Ireland (our European champions), Belgiam and Norway posting on the DP from time to time.
There are a lot fervent "foreign" Paulists posting on other forums around the world. And don't forget all the Americans that are really interested in "building up a horde" with us "foreigners".
As Maria Sklodowska Curie and I have indicated we are discussing a European CFL-project. Just imagine all the informatíons and strategies for a liberty-minded policy regarding the EU-crisis we could share! But it would be great to build something like this on an International level. I really like to share ideas on that.
Do you think it's reasonable for foreigner's to join the CFL as we joined other forums? I don't know if it is possible and it would somehow water down the idea. Perhabs there could be an affiliated "International CFL" ?
Would like to know Manystorms opinions and advise ont this.
Perhabs we should start an own thread to discuss it.

-"Ron Paul cured me of my predilection for Che Guevara T shirts."
Good idea
Our CFL should just have an international link. Why not?

I think an International CFL is a wonderful idea. I have a friend in South Africa who would dearly love to join. He has read Dr. Paul's book and thinks he is one of the most honest and brilliant men of our times. He once told me to tell Dr. Paul "if he ever needs anything from South Africa or I can be of help...let him know I'm here for him."
One thing I have noticed about our foreign friends on this board is that they are all quite knowledgeable and appreciate the value of a hard fight and not giving up or in easily. This friend of mine, by the way, has been a man without a country for quite some time, because he had to leave his home...Zimbabwe. Even with everything that is going on in Zimbabwe right now - things look very bleak - he still takes the time to learn about Dr. Paul and is willing to help him if he can because he believes Dr. Paul could help to right some of the corruption in this world.
Thank you all!!

Thank you Paulette
I already noticed you are very supportive to "us foreigners".
And I remember your sad post about your friend from Zimbabwe. Hope he will find a new home in South Africa, or even better he may return to Zimbawe. He will be welcomed to join if this idea does materialize.

I will definitely let my friend know this. I read the new additions to this thread whenever I need a "lift." Take good care, my friend and keep us posted on your project.

Cologne, you do know that
Cologne, you do know that I'm an American but living in Chile don't you? I'm 100% with the idea of an international CFL. Some people might have gotten the wrong impression about me when I said I was leaning towards voting for Barr. Honestly, there are 2 things I know: I'm not voting for the duopoly and I'm undecided. This is serious. I've never left DP. There was a time I was very sick for 2 weeks and couldn't frequent DP. So, I could vote for Barr or Baldwin (Georgian vs Floridian). BTW, I think we should all respect others opinions. Just to keep things calm, I'm now undecided and honestly won't cast my vote until I receive my absentee. Cologne, do you have the contact to our Brazilian friend? I mean we're on the same continent but I think we're the only ones from South America.
Actually I didn't
realize you are American. But makes it perhabs more interesting to have expats from different parts of the world. I don't take part in the row about Baldwin or Barr (wouldn't be too much for a foreigner who cannot vote anyway to take part in this dispute). It caused a lot of disparity on the DP anyway. Since I realized, Ron Paul can still get the nomination it's uninteresting for me anyway. Actually, Barr seems to be an opportunist and I find it strange he gets much more media coverage as Ron Paul got at the beginning of his campaign. My gut feeling is for Chuck Baldwin, honestly.
I don't have the contact to flavio. I think, you should just send him a message via the DP clicking on his name.
Hope you have overcome your illness.
Stay tuned!

"How can we justify to the unemployed and underemployed in the United States the incredible cost of maintaining a global empire?" - Dr. Ron Paul
West Coast Canada
I heard about Ron Paul from Alex Jone's Infowars.com
I have been addicted to DailyPaul for a few months now. I work with American Military and I have definately swayed a few to vote for Ron Paul.
The closest politician we have to Ron Paul is Connie Fogal who is the leader of the Canadian Action Party. Our current Prime Minister, Steven Harper, is a war criminal like Bush.
The whole world is counting on you folks (Americans) to vote out the corporate criminals and to rescue your Constitution.
Yeah Paul!!!

Ron Paul 2012 - Not just for America, for the World!
I'm from France
I'm not a US citizen, but like you guys, I just love liberty. So I do care about what is happening in the US, even if it's not my country.
I first saw Dr Paul on the videos from the debates on youtube. He was making so much sense and looked very honest. I just found him great. I did not even know a politician could be that great..
Then while listening to him more and more, I got very interested and I started talking with his supporters and I looked at the links they were posting. I bought some books, Dr Paul's book too, I did a bit of research, and then I knew. I knew what was happening to your country. I could not rely on any media, european or american. They were all hiding the truth.
So I knew you were losing your civil liberties, your soldiers were sent to needless wars, the American Union was under way, you were robbed by the Federal Reserve, etc. It just pissed me off !!!
But a bit later I realized that, it was not only in the US. In europe too our civil liberties were challenged, especially in the UK.
And then came the Lisbon treaty. Even with the No from the Irish and the No in 2005 from the french and dutch people, they are still looking for a way to impose their superstate on us. They don't care about our opinion. They don't care about us.
We may not be from the same country. But we all want to protect the sovereignty of our country, and we all want to protect our civil rights. We all love liberty. So really, we're not different. So that's why we feel the need of supporting each others.
Love you all, liberty lovers and truth seekers.
Yes, you are right
we the citizens all want the same things. It is the governments that create the tension between everyone, and they are such a small number of people. What part of France are you from?
I'm from Florida...
...another foreign country. when dr. paul spoke about how our economic policy is the umbrella that affects so much of our other policies: foreign, trade, immigration, healthcare, etc, I was hooked.
... we sure could use a solution to illegal immigration here in florida....one that makes sense economically, but still provides opportunity for legal immigration.
www.campaignforliberty.org join Dr. Paul and continue the Manifesto!
Greetings from all over the place...
I'm a Scotsman who just sold everything I own back in March, left Edinburgh and set off around the world to find a place I can go live without politics ruining everything. I just couldn't take another day of socialism and watching the Ron Paul Revolution these past however many months was a significant catalyst for that.
I'm currently living and working in New Zealand, which is a traditionally free, open minded place where the government largely leaves you alone, but the current socialist government is steadily destroying that here too. Thankfully they seem to be on their way out, so we'll see what the other lot can do for the place. Good gun laws here, plenty of ways to get off the grid and a relatively easy place for Americans to settle, if y'all are looking for somewhere. VERY expensive though.
We'll hit the States in December (damn shame we can't make it for September 2nd!) and who knows where after that? 2009 is the Scottish Year of Homecoming, so we'll be paying a visit at least. And Scotland is heading in the right direction, thank god.
Myself and my wife (a Texan) heard about Dr Paul on Jon Stewart. We watched him talk, turned to each other and said, 'Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone like that actually got into office?'. A week or so later I looked him up online as a whim and was blown away by how much information there was.
I'm indescribably grateful to all of you Paulites over there fighting the good fight because you've restored my faith that there are still sensible people out there who really are prepared to fight for something good. I donate, I Digg, I do what I can, but it is so important that the Constitution is restored to its rightful place and you guys are right there on the front line, doing what needs to be done.
Keep up the good work!

Scotland heading direction independence?
At least if the UK is getting more and more of a police state, Scotland should take any option to gain independence.

Thanks for telling us a little
bit about yourself. I have been wondering about New Zealand. It looks incredibly beautiful and I had read the government not too far back had held the line for its peoples freedoms. I don't know when that changed or who came and went. I wish you and your wife the best.
thankyou
and Godbless you.
Germany for Freedom
I learned about Ron Paul from infowars.com. I clicked on the links to the campaign and took several nights of watching youtube videos of your fantastic campaign!
Then I read the blackboxvoting.org report on the New Hampshire primary and realized there was something terribly wrong with the elections.
By now I am truely addicted to the idea of personal freedom and liberty and amazed about the events to come!
The power of the idea of liberty and your grassroot campaign is absolutely awesome. Thank you so much!

Just wondering.... can any
Just wondering.... can any of you guys come to the Convention in Minneapolis on Sept 2? It would be great to meet ya'll! Can you imagine the effect that would have on how Dr. Paul's message is viewed?! I understand that the US is not the only place in the world with economic problems, so I totally understand if ya'll can't make it, but just thought it would be great.....
NONE BUT PAUL!
It would sooo cool if ...
If people around the world held their own mini-conventions on the same day too, and then we can all share our experiences on youtune together :-)

Not just a question of money
To travel to the US I have to give my fingerprint for one of our new passports like a criminal. And I have heard about some degrading experiences entering and leaving your country. I am not so sure I would stand this for the time being. Hope this 9/11 hysteria crap will end soon.

Same problem here. Actually
Same problem here. Actually it is even worse because you don't have to have visa if you are German. I don't know the procedure exactly but it would take me few weeks and cost me few 100s $ to get it. And there is no guarantee that I would get the visa even if I gave my fingerprints, family and bank details, pass the interview and proved that I won't stay there (you have to be employed or something).
