I'm just going to keep adding stories that I find to this thread. They're just not that hard to find. When it's all said and done, we've should have quite a list of human tragedy (and comedy).

Order restored among crowd seeking food vouchers

Socialism is an immoral system that turns humans into beggars.

Here is a perfect example. When you distribute goods based on need, rather than on achievement, humans get needier and needier. Why? Well, why work when it can be given to you for free?

And with every free meal that you get, the more dependent you become.

And with every government program put into place to help you, the more dependent you become on government assistance. Just look at the racial composition of the beggars.

It's not because they are black that they are beggars. It's because blacks have been targeted for social welfare programs for the last 40 years that they are beggars.

They have been victimized alright, but not by the white man. They've been victimized by the Communists in our government that have an agenda to keep them enslaved to the Welfare State.

This is a disgrace.

Milwaukee police said they have restored order this morning but will remain outside of the Marcia P. Coggs Human Services Center after a crowd awaiting free food vouchers - which never were to be distributed - became unruly this morning.

Several thousand people showed up at the Marcia P. Coggs Human Services Center after rumors circulated about free food vouchers.

Police responded to the building about 7 a.m. after 2,500 people lined up on the sidewalk.

Police Department spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said Vliet St., between N. 12th and N. 13th streets, is blocked, and barricades have been installed so people are able to line up around the block of the building at 1220 W. Vliet St.

"That line is pretty huge," Schwartz said. "We are going to be here for the duration."

Police responded to the building about 7 a.m. after 2,500 people lined up on the sidewalk and eventually began to block traffic in the street. A number of people had rushed the door, and some people became caught in the crush; however, there were no serious injuries, according to Schwartz.
