While I think it's fair to question the intelligence of anyone who is convinced that 9/11 was an inside job, I must object to the implication of your comparison that 9/11 truthers are no smarter than a mindless swarm of angry hornets.

I am reasonably sure that truthers are considerably more intelligent than hornets, and in particular have the mental capacity to recognize and consider the implications of this satirical post, and respond intelligently rather than react mindlessly with anger. However, I must say that the posts to this thread have provided more evidence in support of your theory -- truthers' intelligence levels are comparable to that of mindless angry hornets -- than for mine.

Yes, thought is linked to violence. But not all thought, and not even all angry thought, causes violence. In fact, i would say that it's lack of thought that precipitates violence. That is, more thought is often the best and perhaps only preventative to violence.

But yes, my only intent was to provoke thought. Well, that, and hopefully induce a chuckle or two. But the main thing is to provoke thought about the basis for being convinced that 9/11 was an inside job.

Minarchist, lets not try to start a conspiracy. It is better to make rational arguments, not funny satire at this time do to the seriousness of the issues at hand. I am inclined to believe like you and Ron Paul that 9/11 is a case of bungling, incompetence and bureaucratic idiocy than anything else. But I am not above thinking that yes, someone or some people could "game" the system to guide or allow some events to unfold.

Its not that those who believe in various conspiracies will NOT look at counter evidence or counter arguments. Indeed, they certainly will. So if you have some, post it up, they will listen and read it and watch it.

Making fun of Conspiracy believers is not funny because they take it seriously, ..........so just like we take Ron Paul seriously, we want Ron Paul's arguments seriously addressed.

I myself am busy on the sidelines, in the stands, looking at both sides as best that I can. I am agnostic and I suggest you should be too. Lets eat the popcorn and sip the soda, but give each side an honest rational review.

There has not been a truly serious investigation and the best thing that can happen for truth, is the 9/11 truthers directly address the 9/11 debunkers and the 9/11 debunkers address the 9/11 truthers. Through this process, the truth of the events will get vetted. Where both the two sides "agree on what happened", will become its own narrative. I suspect that that new narrative will be 1000 times better than what we got with the 9/11 commission report which does appear to be a white wash. Certainly, who ever bungled things at Norad, at the CIA, at the FAA, in the White House, has never been found guilty of bungling things.
