Ok. I know that Mr. Bob Barr voted for the patriot Act so that he can change it and make it a constitutional liberty document. So He changed the Patriot Act. Now its a constitutional pro liberty document thnks to Mr Barr. Why are there people still screaming about it? when grt liberty lover Congressmen like Mr Barr already made it a constitutional liberty love fest document.

I think it's astonishing
I think it's astonishing that this is what the neocons fried him on and he continues to get bashed for it. Surely a guy with such a grievous offense as this has a list of other grievous offenses. And I'm not talking about what was then but what has he done since?
It makes me wonder what will happen to those in this current movement that aspire to run for office. Will they be effective if they do not play ball with the establishment? If they do will they get fried by their own supporters? By raising this doubt now you raise doubt in everyone who aspires to run. With this lingering in the backs of their minds for all time. It could be good in that it might keep elected officials in check. But it's also just enough to not want to get involved at all.
When I go out into the world and see what needs to be done. I almost think I could do it. I could get out there and campaign and win a election. But for what? So I can multiply my enemies?
I'm definitely not comfortable with Barr. But why is that? Am I making up my own mind or am I being influenced by all the bandwagoners? What's to be gained by all this? Why are the Barr haters so afraid of Barr? He can't possibly be more scary than Obama, so what gives? I just don't get it.
Who gains by all this??? In the end. Obama does.
