Two’s company. Former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney announced today she has joined the campaign to elect Cindy Sheehan to Congress.
Citing Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s record on “hope-reversing” policies, McKinney will serve as Sheehan’s Honorary Co-Chair in Sheehan’s bid to “oust” Pelosi from office.
“Nancy Pelosi needs to phone home,” McKinney said, “because it’s clear that she’s forgotten the values of the people of California who sent her to Congress.”
The announcement comes at a particularly difficult time for Pelosi whose job approval rating has steadily declined since vowing “to take back America” in 2006. According to a recent Harris poll conducted between June 4 and June 8, Pelosi’s job approval rating has declined to an all-time low of just 24 percent positive and 57 percent negative.

That is being used by the leftist establishment to spread their far left agenda. Now with that said, I would love to vote for her to knock out Pelosi! At the very least she is an American that obviously has family values, and for that I say hats off and good luck Mrs. Sheehan!!!

Cindy Sheehan has stated publicly
that Ron Paul is the only true conservative in Washington, DC. That's far more of an acknowledgement of reality than Pelosi has ever given. I agree, all the traitorous rats must go...straight to hell.
We can no longer just blame
We can no longer just blame our elected officials. WE are to blame also. Over and over again, we reelect these same politicians into office. We are just asking for more of the same. It must end now. I refuse to be lied to, ignored, and robbed of my freedoms any longer.
Nancy Pelosi epitomizes the arrogance of power. And she is just one of many in Congress. They have to be replaced. If their replacements ignore their oaths, they too must be replaced. It had better be sooner than later, because are rights are quickly disappearing.
Obviously these past 7 years have proven that Congress will not honor the will of the people. It is now up to us.

I used to live in Miss Mickinney's congressional district in Georgia - she is a statist liberal to the hilt.She will play the race card at the drop of a coin, she is venemous and devisive, she has no concept of how to govern. Her philosophy is the best defense is a good offense, and she is constantly attacking anyone whom with she does not agree. She may make a great campaign activist, but she does not know how to be an effective legislator.
Look up "much ado about a hairdo" for more information on her attitude. as for me, no thanks!

Economics is the way you win a war without firing a shot.. if you do not have a sound economic base you cannot wage war.. as Ron Paul says the Iraq war will be over sooner or later because we are not economically able to keep it going. the problem will be inside this country... gas and food prices skyrocketing.. the poor and middle class get killed! then we have domestic problems with riots etc.. that is where our attention should be focused.. I agree with sheehan thos pelosi did not do what she got elected to do and that was to stop the war! she could have done it by stopping all funding.. this should tell you folks that there is no difference between the 2 partys..

You know these people are not AGAINST us. They have beliefs in how govt should be run that is socialist in nature that does not make them our enemy. I was a socialist leaning independent until just last year. Look there will always be disagreement in politics always. Let's look at our opposites and assess their intentions and values not on whether they agree with the way the world should be run. Cynthia McKinney loves human kind and she gives a shit!! She is honest and willing to take a stand she will tell you exactly where she stands on an issue. Don't agree with her fine! The one thing that I have found frustrating in this campaign is the labels labels labels! You're correct about R's and D's being the same.My dem neighbors have spent more time discussing RP respectfully and asking good questions than my republican ones. We will not be able to have 100% RP candidates to choose from for a while and as we get stronger as a movement we will have some disappointments when we see that not all of our candidates will keep their word.Even if these guys aren't perfect and have the right label they have integrity and THAT will be my litmus for now.

In my opinion, all those who voted in favor of this piece of legislation ARE against us. If they would vote to take away our freedoms than I say that they are enemies. Borrowing from your words, "that will be my litmus test for now".

But we can no longer reward "those stupid democrats and stupid republicans" for ignoring the people's wishes and violating the Constitution by reelecting them. That has to stop and it has to stop right now. I don't care if the offending incumbent is a republican and you have to vote for a democrat, we have to do it until we finally get elected officials who will uphold their oath of office.
When we reelect politicians who betray us, we are just as bad as they are. The American people have to fix this. These politicians can not do it nor do they even want to. It is entirely up to us.
