Steve Dore - Don't Be A Sheep!

This is the book that Steve is talking about - A Nation of Sheep. Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity all endorse Judge Napolitano. And in the book, Judge Napolitano endorses Ron Paul.

This is the passage that Steve reads: "There is little we can do about this but warn our fellow Americans of Liberty lost. At this writing, sixteen politicians are competing nationally to replace President Bush. There are eight Democrats and eight Republicans. With the exception of Representative Ron Paul -- in terms of fidelity to the Constitution -- it does not matter which one of them wins. Except for Congressman Paul, they all love power for its own sake, believe that big government should redistribute wealth, regard the Constitution as a quaint obstacle, and would enforce or disregard laws as they saw fit. All this without regard to our history, our values, or our natural rights..." Get the book and pass the word.

Song lyrics below. Hear all of Steve's songs at: Ron Paul Songs.

Don't Be A Sheep!

Why do we trust the shepards,
For protection from our fears,
Sacrificing civil rights, for words we want to hear,
Calling all good people, in the name of Liberty,
Don’t give up your freedom, for your security

We’ve got to get a hold of this,
And get our heads on straight,
Shed this wooly suit, before its just too late,
Spread the warning, as our basic rights are lost,
Freedom for safety, is never worth the cost

Don’t be a sheep, don’t fall down for their lies...

Aren’t you getting angry, you’re losing in this game,
Government can take your gold, your property, your name,
What kind of final straw, is it gonna take,
To wake and smell the tyranny, that’s baking in this cake,

There’s only one man standing,
Who’s responding to the call,
The grand champion, of our constitution,
The great one and only, Ron Paul

They are taking your rights, don’t be a sheep
Stand up for your rights, don’t be a sheep,
Never surrender your rights, don’t be a sheep,
Fight for your rights, don’t be a sheep

Judge Napolitano

Ron Paul hopefully will become President and nominate this judge to the Supremes. He may be the only one left who will not be a judicial activist - unless you define judicial activism as upholding the Constitution.

"Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern." ~~C.S. Lewis

Heh, I was more excited by the passage from the book, but the song lyrics are great, too!

There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty:

1. Soap
2. Ballot
3. Jury
4. Ammo

Please use in that order.

Great song

I think we should try to get this on the radio on the net or by having it opening up Ron Paul websites.
I know many of you would think it will be offensive to a lot of people, I disagree it will open people up more to Ron Paul and his message.

Again just an opinion.
Great job Steve Dore !!!!!
Thanks Mr. Judge for your excellent book it is indeed an eye opener.

"Freedom is a right that can never be won in war, only by each individual "

Tyanny baking in a cake?

Ouch!

Gotta admit, though, "Vice President Judge Napolitano" has a great ring to it.

Wow Steve!

It's clear to me that I need to be taking guitar lessons from YOU!

Great lyrics

Steve, another great song. I definitely want that one on the CD...when will it be ready for purchase? I plan on at least 2 CD's for keepsakes for my 2 children. Keep the songs coming and know that I appreciate them very much.

"Bill O'Reilly, Rush

"Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity all endorse this book."

can you substantiate this claim? (I'm not trying to discredit you, but I'd like to share this with some people and would like to have my facts straight...)

Yes but they don't say much...

These comments are on the back cover... Now I just saw something for the first time here thanks to your comment. It says... "Praise for Judge Andrew Napolitano's previous books! But that text is color coded with O'reilly's comment only.

The other comments sure appear to me to be about this book. Alan Colmes also has a quote, only he actually says something, something perfectly right on.

Colmes says: "At a time when we are, in Benjamin Franklin's words, sacrificing essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, here comes the judge with what should be mandatory reading for the executive branch cronies who are busy stealing power... Thank goodness the judge IS watching and speaking truth to power. More than a book, this is an emergency call to philosophical arms, one we must heed before it's too late."

Oreilly says: "Has the war on terrorism taken away some of your rights? In a non-ideological way, Judge Andrew P. Napolitano answers that crucial question. This book will open your eyes."

Limbaugh says: "Judge Napolitano engages here in what I do every day on my program —make you think. There's no question that potential Supreme Court nominees and what our Constitution says (and doesn't say) played a major role for many voters in our last couple of elections. What the judge does here is detail why the federal government claims it can regulate as well as tax everything in sight as it grows and grows. Agree or disagree with him –you need to read his latest book, think, and begin to arm yourself as you enter this important debate."

Hannity says: "Whatever happened to states' rights, limited government, and natural law? Judge Napolitano, in his own inimitable style, takes us on a fascinating tour of the destruction of constitutional government. If you want to know how the federal government got so big and fat, read this book. Agree or disagree, this book will make you think."

There is another quote from Nat Hentoff. I don't know of him yet, but the endorsement of Napolitano's work here is good.

Thanks Steve

I stand corrected. I'm going to get a copy of the book!

All art is only done by the individual. The individual is all you ever have, and all schools only serve to classify their members as failures. E.H.

The color stems from the front cover (goes all the way around)

I got the book the other day... it seems like the back cover praises are for previous books as stated... Alan Colmes confirms this here...

You have to listen to a bunch of other stuff first, but he interviews Napolitano, good interview.

It's a great book (so far)

Thanks, Steve. I don't have that book (yet...) and my google-fu wasn't strong enough to find those endorsements.

Great song, by the way... :)

Based on what Steve said

If you watch the first part of the video, Steve says that there is praise from each of those individuals on the back of the book. If you say kind things about a book on its back cover, I'd say that's an endorsement.

Great Song!

Great song! Amazing chorus . . . thanks for sharing.

In addition to the book there is also Napolitano's speech at the FFF conference where he called Dr. Ron Paul the "Thomas Jefferson of our day."

Part 4 of the conference seems great to share with friends as the Judge mentions Ron Paul a few times and explains how our civil liberties are being lost. You can watch it here:

Thanks again for the great song. Keep them coming.

This video is absolutley amazing!

More people need to see this video (i've only seen part 4, but I will watch parts 1-3 shortly). It drives me nuts how when I talk to sane, intelligent people about Ron Paul, they call him crazy.
How is liberty crazy!
