For those who are new to Ron Paul

Do you have a friend, family member, or parent who is traditionally conservative, but who still supports many of the policies being put forth by our current president? Are you new to Ron Paul and curious to see what all the excitement is about? Are you a well-meaning liberal who loves Ron Paul's position on Iraq but doesn't understand his other positions? Reading Ron Paul material on his congressional website may help. I was converted from being a semi neo-con about 4 years ago by reading some of the articles and statements from his website. Reading his thoughts on the war completely changed my opinion of it. Maybe they will help you or your loved ones learn about the philosophies of freedom. There are many articles, speeches delivered on the House floor, and statements published on his website that prove we are supporting a man of great integrity, character, consistency, and who loves our great country.

Senate Bill 1959: Are you a terrorist?

All Ron Paul supporters should be alert to Senate Bill 1959

Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 (Introduced in Senate)

Go to this link and type in "S 1959"

You may have heard the fuss about it as HR 1955. Well, it passed the house, and now YOU may be considered a terrorist the next time you THINK about using force to protect your civil liberties.

Do you care about 2nd amendment gun rights? Do you care about a political issue or religion or social change? Do you care about the Bill of Rights?

Here is language directly from S 1959:

"The term `violent radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change."

Take out the word "violence" and you're looking at a law that threatens belief systems, ideology, politics, religion, and social change.

This bill is an offensive threat to our civil liberties.

Encouragement along these lines

I agree with TomMadison that it is best to go straight to the source. I refer others to the RonPaulLibrary.org so they can read his words firsthand. And I send links to YouTube interviews where Dr. Paul can be seen and heard. Get to know him through his words and actions. Your decision is yours; your maturation in self-reliance and independent thinking is invaluable to us all.
