Unspoken sensorship on Youtube?
Submitted by mrd on Fri, 11/02/2007 - 15:40I'm confused. I see the RonPaulGraphs.com Youtube Channel Views graph and compare Ron Paul to any front runner.
Then I visit the News & Politics category on Youtube.com. I have never seen a Ron Paul video on this front page, containing "Featured Videos selected by YouTube Editors."
Then I click See More News & Politics, and I see countless videos about Edwards, Giuliani, Hillary, Obama. I see interviews, press conferences, yadda yada. And I see one video about Ron Paul. One.
If RonPaulGraphs is accurate, then why are Ron Paul videos so scarce on the "Most Viewed" Youtube videos (which, I believe, is the default browse mode) ?
Isn't Youtube owned by Google? What gives?
-- EVIDENCE --
I have just witnessed evidence that Youtube is either complicit in sensorship or is being hacked. Shortly after this posting, I posted this, which links to a Youtube video.
This video had enabled comments, the most recent of which were within the past few weeks. Now, an hour after posting this video, comments are suddenly disabled, and it doesn't show any comments newer than five months! The video poster's channel shows she hasn't logged on in over 20 hours..
Edit #2: Gee now it says she just logged in. So either I'm paranoid, or .. ah well, yeah I am.

Youtube
Also I'm not sure if this is related, but there's usually new Ron Paul videos every hour or more. In the last 3 days there hasn't been a new Ron Paul video added when you search youtube for Ron Paul under Date Added. This is how I keep track of the newest videos. It may just be overquota or something, no idea if this is related

Try to vary your searching habits. Use Yahoo, MSN and ASK. All good engines without the risk to your privacy.
BTW, this site uses google analytics to track you, not sure if the site owner could tell you what google does with that info as I'm sure Google won't tell him.
