I am willing to give Tucker
a chance but if he does anything to screw this campaign up he will forever be known as FUC%$#. Peace
Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.
I've got mixed feelings in regards to Tucker...but here goes...
:
Please read, those who haven't seen this....shows the utter charm of Ron Paul...(and even Tucker Carlson) megapardons in advance that it is from TNR...
...Which is odd, because, in person, Paul doesn't seem like a freak. He seems like someone's grandfather. I first met up with Paul after a rally at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He apparently hadn't known I was coming but accepted my arrival with Zen-like calm, welcoming me into the seat next to him in the minivan and offering me baked goods from a plate on his lap. We were both finishing our brownies when he mentioned they'd been baked by a supporter. I stopped chewing. Where I work, this is a major taboo (Rule One: Never eat food sent by viewers), and my concern must have shown. Paul grinned. "Maybe they're spiked with marijuana," he said.

Could you have a better MC?
Get the Judge.
Judge Napolitano is the best person I can think of to introduce Ron Paul.

I second that
I second that
F**K TUCKER GRANNY NEEDS TO BE MC
So, was Tucker making freedom festivals all over the country? Really, who knows the grassroots movement better. Maybe Michael Nystrom, or Trevor Lyman. But, its seriously disappointing that the campaign WAS the grassroots and now the campaign is handing over the microphone to the same shill that paraded these people for Ron Paul:

Tucker ARRANGED for Bunny Ranch to endorse Ron Paul
http://nationalexpositor.com/News/722.html
I got nothing against strippers, but their endorsements seriously hurt Dr. Paul's chances with older female voters (notice that block of our voting was missing?)
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Tucker and John Mayer should both be there.
I think that Tucker should have devoted a little more airtime to Ron Paul, but who knows what was going on behind the scenes. The fact that his show was cancelled says a lot. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and I hope he brings many more to the cause of liberty.
Well you know,
The way I saw it was that very few people gave Ron Paul air time, but Tucker and Wolf and Cafferty gave Dr. Paul the best airtime of any of the MSM hosts.
So, I think a little compromise won't hurt and other posters are correct IMO that Tucker's name will help the event.

YOUR WRONG
Tucker was the ONLY journalist that gave Dr. Paul the time of day. You're an idiot to believe a socialist like John Stewert. Tucker is a good libertarian, honest America. You're wrong about him.
What about when he set Paul
What about when he set Paul up by bringing brothel owners and prostitutes to his campaign event, and then wrote an article how they showed up? Which then, of course, created much bad news and bad spin for Ron Paul
HAHA
YES...It was all a set up. that's why Tucker ALSO said he voted for Dr. Paul in 88 and has been a supporter ever since. That's why Tucker was the ONLY reporter to endorse Dr. Paul like he did. That's why Tucker was the ONLY reporter that didn't slant interviews against Dr. Paul....
and by the way...I've see the behind the scenes video from that event, because I edited videos for the official campaign, and they were personal acquaintances of Tucker's. They had every right to be there, just as anyone else. Isn't that kind of Dr. Paul's message? People should be able to live their lives the way they want to? And in ANY CASE....just because two prostitutes came to hear Dr. Paul speak, is NOT a bad thing. It just means that he has a very diverse supporter base.
Tucker's cool, you all have you heads stuck up your asses. I for one am excited about going to St. Paul and have TUCKER be the mc!
Um...Tucker, the brothel
Um...Tucker, the brothel owner, and the two prostitutes all showed up in one limo. Tucker invited them there. THEN he wrote an article about how they were there, and even seemed somewhat negative.
Okay...now back off a second...did I say ONCE that prostitution should be illegal? Did I say that they shouldn't have a right to live? Did I say they dont have a right to be there? NO! So stop getting all up tight and personal about a subject which you obviosly know nothing about! All I said is it openly invited bad press and spin from the media, and it's hard to deny that. If Tucker had not written the article about a brothel owner endorsing Ron, it would have helped a lot.
I really don't think...
that a few articles written about Tucker Carlson bringing prostitutes to hear Ron Paul speak made a difference either way.
If it did hurt Ron, then he made up for it with all the great press him gave him before and after that. So, it's kind of like picking the one bad apple out of a bunch of really great ones.
With the rest of the media it's completely the opposite. Ron might have gotten one good article or show from them, but the rest of the time it was slander and mockery. PLUS, Dr. Paul obviously trusts him, and I'm sure he knows about all the prostitute stuff. SO, if after all of that Dr. Paul still wants him to come and MC, than it should be fine with everyone else too.
Tucker Even admits he set up the bunny ranch owner
http://nationalexpositor.com/News/722.html
Try disagreeing with his own words. Its amazing people can't even see what's right in front of their faces. Tucker was DECIMATED by the Jon Stewart interview, he subsequently was fired and rehired to get all the free thinking libertarians believing he was on their side and then threw up a bunch of socially unacceptable people to his audience which destroyed the older female and socially conservative male voting block.
You've been conned, just like the Bob Barr people. Ron Paul's the real deal, Tucker's a hack.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Did you even listen to Jon Stewart?
First off, Jon and his staff admittedly lean toward Libertarianism and they admit that on their "straight" interviews. If you think Jon is socialist because he's painted a rosy picture of obama in the past then you might not have seen all the clips where he shows obama stealing speeches from other politicians or flip flopping on things like the FISA bill. Jon also openly criticizes Israel's position against Palestine. So, he might be for more government funding of social programs, but socialist I think not.
Jon's crossfire appearence was great because its so true. We're presented with a false paradigm by fake talking heads like Tucker Carlson-either Republican or Democrat. In actuality there is no choice but freedom or not.
He also was effective because he got Tucker fired for his "jackassery".
Notice I didn't use an insult, that's the last refuge of the ignorant person.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Yea and Colbert is actually
Yea and Colbert is actually left-leaning Libertarian rather than a socialist liberal. Seriously, he has admitted this several times, in a rather serious tone, on his show. People are just paranoid and think everyone is out to get them! BOOGEY BOOGEY BOOGEY!
Here is Jon Stewart ripping Tucker
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmj6JADOZ-8
and Tucker gets fired afterwards.
Can't the campaign see he's a disinfo shill?

Has anyone ever considered
Has anyone ever considered the Good Doc is trying to increase his audience. Who's next to come on board? Were all of us always awake?
Let's not be too puritanical
I got angry at Tucker as much as anyone on a couple of occasions, but so what if he doesn't agree with everything the doc says? Neither do I. What I remember about Tucker Carlson is that he stood up for Ron Paul on a ton of occasions. He was cordial to him when in the studio, which I can't say for anyone over at Fox (except Cavuto). He let the doctor speak and get his points across.
I am actualyl quite pleased...and as someone else noted, having someone with his media credentials could help create the kind of hype we need to really counter the neo-cons.
But that's just my opinion...
Let's not be blockheads for once -- Tucker was good to RP
You are 100% correct. It's a wonderful coup to get Tucker to emcee this great event.
However
Fortune Favors the Bold
Having a noted "MSM" figure being the master of ceremonies will enhance the probabiliy of live coverage of the event.
Fortune Favors the Bold
JohnGalt300 Yes,
you are correct. Coverge is what it's all about.
Remember, Tucker's last week ( we didn't know it was) on the job he mentioned that Ron Paul should be on every night.
Anybody remember the Junk
Anybody remember the Junk new republic articles by tucker & Council on foreign relations James Kirchick smear job on Ron Paul?
I never trusted that weasel.
Especially since his interview with Dr. Steven Jones.

Fucker Tarlson
As soon as that dude started cheer leading for Dr. Paul, I thought something smelled fishy.
Like, "why is this MSM scumbag taking our side?"
Then, when he pulled that shit with the pimps and ho's, things started to seem like they made more sense.
And when I saw how he behaved with Dr. Steven Jones, then it became apparent that he is absolutely nothing resembling a real journalist, and he is more than likely ultimately owned by the CIA via "Project Mockingbird"
Pretty amazing that Dr. Paul still accepts him.
The official campaign must be overflowing with moles.
The campaign ain't the greatest at picking lead people
I forget the name, but that economic advisor was with the campaign for like a week and then split for McCain's campaign.
I'd rather have Granny being the MC or Alex Jones or Rand Paul or Trevor Lyman or Michael Nystrom or any of the other heroes in the grassroots movements.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
the name of that economic advisor was...
Donald Luskin.
What a twerp.

G. Edward Griffin
I'd throw my vote for G. Edward Griffin. He is known as being a great orator and public speaker. Plus he's been fighting for truth and freedom almost as long as the Good Doctor himself.
