I will jump in on the "Common Ground" once we get all the contacts done for the state conventions! Post back here what you are sending and getting the most positive responses. On this we dont want to cut and paste but it helps to know what seems to be the best tactic ! I got a couple responses the other day from SirFelix's - Twista faith video!

Wake Up biz cards
I massed printed business cards with a short message to Wake Up Before it's too late....with a link to Campaign for Liberty's website.....and in fine print "we are losing our Constitutional Rights and Freedom Daily". I put a card in the driver's side windows of cars in parking lots...and most especially cars with Obama bumper stickers :)

We need to spend less time preaching to the choir and more time reaching out! I know alot are doing this but now is not the time to stop! Its time to crank it up to the max and make every effort!
Some of us are working on "Operation Urgent Contact" ( contacting every meetup member in remaining states that have conventions coming up ) search the thread on here.... and hopefully some are working on "Operation Common Ground" contacting the disaffected Obama groups that are upset over fisa....try to win them over while they are upset with him! Search for thread on here! ( I would include links but I have so many flippin windows open now! lol! )
Working on you tube comments is a great idea! I think many do that anyway but organize a team from here with ideas for that!

Have you ever lost someone you love? Well, the hell of it is.. you always say ...could I have done more? ...could I have played it differently? If only I had spent more time...made that extra effort...or I wish I could go back and try harder? We are talking about losing our country as we know it and nothing less! And posts like this are the most important messages of what we can do to help promote Ron Paul's message. It is not enough that we sit all day on the daily paul and chit chat. We must go out into the world and spread the message.
WE are the disciples of the message. If WE don't spread the message, then who will?

You know,
I was thinking about this today, and I realized that the best place to convert people is on YouTube. It is free advertising, and reaches millions of people.
Videos in the People and Politics section are hardcore messages to certain groups. But we could create and post other seemingly un-related videos in other sections that had just a tint of Ron Paul's message or name.
We have the world at our fingertip, if we can just come up with creative ways to reach the people.
Humor is also a good way, everybody likes to laugh. Humorous situations with a Liberty minded/political overtone? just thinking out loud I guess.

Humor is a great way to reach people -
especially when everyone is feeling the economy crunch. I posted this elsewhere, but it was at the end of the thread and actually works in here:
Every time I see a reference to our very successful convention...28 delegates for Ron paul...I find myself thinking on the whole process. Unless we can find a way to begin to influence the media, it's not going to make much difference in the short haul how hard we work, how brilliant Ron Paul is, or how much money we throw at the enterprise. Yes, over time, we will make advances, but I don't know about all of you, I'm feeling we've got to come up with some more immediate solutions to the problems facing this country. YouTube is good, but unfortunately many of the older folks think it is a "kids" thing, so you have to be careful not to reach that group. While the youth has done a tremendous job on picking up on the importance of Ron Paul's message, the more senior group is big on getting out the vote.
We have got to reach the media...and not just the blogs, or the liberty news sites that we visit regularly (we're the informed ones), we've got to get to the areas where "The Others" hang out....that means the mainstream media and political blogs for other candidates, YouTube too, of course.
In the annals of politics, what was accomplished in Nevada is probably a first and might very well be the foot in the door for more legitimacy and visibility, but the media has slammed the door in our faces and continues to keep the public in the dark. So, while we need to reach the delegates and get them there, we also have to find those in the media who will help us inch that door open. We do not have a free press and to get the word out to millions without them is a huge task and one which we should perhaps brainstorm on. How can we get to the media for fair coverage?
An activist I know, said that about the only way to get the media to cover events such as the March is to plan something attention-getting (humorous?) or outrageous, without being violent (major emphasis). Then get the word out before the event so that the media will want to cover it. As she put it "the media doesn't care that thousands are marching for liberty and Ron Paul...ho hum, just another 'cause.' " She suggested something fun, unusual...but now we are getting beyond my scope. I was telling her that apparently Homeland Security has indicated that the media should not cover the March in DC, and they view us as "domestic terrorists" according to one report I read.
Above all, don't get me wrong, we all get exasperated occasionally...we must stick together, grow our numbers, and fight on. It also struck me in a conversation I had with a member of the media, even they keep being fed the same thing over and over again to the point they believe they are reporting the news. This is an interesting thread and Sir Felix "creative ways to reach the people" is the ticket.....somehow.

I post pro liberty comments in other sections of youtube especially music it is a good way to wake up people...that site is a fantastic platform to spread the word.
BTW one can create many youtube accounts....and fire away!
