Rand Paul Should Be Added As A Main Leader

0 votes

Ron Paul is a natural born leader to teach the new leaders for
our Liberty Campaign.

Let's give Rand Paul a chance to lead too.

I've been watching him and his videos and he will be awesome
leading us on the frontline. He's the more aggressive, comparing
him to Ron Paul.

Yes

Rand Paul definitely has a lot of potential. I heard he considered to run for office, but he wife said no (for now). It would be excellent if he could run for congress
in KY in 2010 (or earlier, if there is a district available). The same with Robert Paul, in Texas. Rand could possibly also run for a senate position, if one becomes available. It would be better to first gain more name recogition as a congressman before going for a senate position. Both Rand and Robert Paul in congress in 2010 as their father spearhead a GOP revolution like in 1994.

Well, Rand Paul can build on the political base his father has laid through the years. Rand Paul can join the Campaign for Liberty, but his father is and should be the leader. There is a lot of wisdom and experience, especially in foreign policy (that Rand does not have yet like his father) and his father is very articulate and smart. His father is more an independent thinker. One should be aggressive, which Ron Paul also is. I think it is very good that Ron Paul is NOT aggressive and remain calm (his sons too). By being kind and respected, it is much easier to convince people. As his ideas involve a radical change in course, it is good that he is calm, not aggressive, because if he was aggressive combined with a radical change, it is easy for others to shy away and be afraid and easier for the media to try to portray negatively (believe me, they know exactly how to do that). Ron Paul has a less "ideological" approach than Pat Buchanan for instance, and this also means his appeal is much wider. I think Dr. Paul need a dynamic, assertive and perhaps aggressive (in the good sense) campaign manager that can promote the cause, perhaps with a bit of a contrast to Dr. Paul's personality. As VP, you often look for someone that is different for yourself and the VP is often an attack dog. Dr. Paul need an intelligent and balanced "attack dog" that can spread the message with the media.

I am glad Gary Johnson will also be at the event in September 2nd. He could play a leading role and having been "Gary veto" and an ex-governor, and a good age and smart, he could be of tremendous help with the campaign for liberty and in politics. If we could get a senator position for him...? in NM it might be difficult. One does not know whether he would like to be a congressman. He will be a speaker at the RLC: http://www.rlc.org
Who knows, hopefully Gary Johnson could be the 2012 GOP candidate (if Dr. Paul would not run again...though he would be 76 then, he still thinks and acts like ten years younger, Ralph Nader is 74 and there has been older presidents in other countries) and possibly select Rand Paul as his running mate? But Rand Paul needs to have some political experience in a role then..he has experience as taxpayers union, with campaigning etc, but he probably needs to have more executive experience by then.

Gary Johnson

I'm going to watch videos and articles about Gary Johnson. I've heard
of him but never watched a video of him speaking.

I do believe we need to bring all folks who want their liberties. Why
hasn't Cynthia McKinney be invited. Why hasn't our great Congressman
from Ohio not been invited.

I did notice Naomi Wolfe is going to make a speech at one of our functions.
Great.

I really hope that Rand

I really hope that Rand becomes very active publicly/politically for the sake of the future of humanity. That is such an awesome burden to bear but in these times we need men like him to stand up and lead. The videos I have watched of him were very enlightening and I hope he does run for office in 2012.

CFL

I think that Rand will play an important part in his Dad's Campaign for Liberty. I hope so.

I really like Rand Paul

I can see him being president in 2012
