Oil prices tied to falling dollar... maybe someone will catch on?

ALGIERS (AFP) - OPEC president Chakib Khelil warned Sunday that oil prices will continue to rise because of the falling dollar, in an interview in the Algeria-News.
"The price of oil will rise again in the coming weeks. We have to follow the evolution of the dollar, because a one percent fall in the dollar means four dollars more on the price of oil," Khelil, who is Algeria's minister of energy and mines, told the independent daily.

We can't really expect
the majority of people to "get it".
They don't "get" anything that goes beyond using their cellphones and maxxing out their credit cards.
This is why we as political activists MUST get into positions of representation where we can effect the proper changes, and help these people DESPITE their ignorances.
The only way we can actually help ourselves in these matters, is to help everyone else along with us. Otherwise, we are just another "special interest" group.
We have to get in there, and effect these political and monetary policy changes. It is critical. We must run candidates consistently for any/all positions we can in local/state/federal races.
Think of it like cleaning out a horse stall. No matter how far the crap is buried in the back corners, if we come in like a "fire hose" of support, it is going to wash all that crap out, no matter how hard it's stuck to the walls.

I like to tell every cashier, about the value of a 1964 or older quarter. you know free money always gets people excited! and they always are interested. then i relate that value to the price of gas, just like the youtube video, to get them thinking of something more important the falling dollar. education is the only way to solve these problems.
