He makes a few solid points, the article is too long though, and while I'm all for over the top blarney, his opening summary:
Leaders of both Parties have stated their clear intent on national TV to continue promoting and subsidizing the brutal murder, killing, rape, robbery or molestation of Americans by allowing illegals to enter and remain in this country
is pure hyperbole and inflammatory. I find it no different then Bush standing there telling us that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, with Bush forgetting to tell us that he personally redefined what "mass destruction" means.
I'm pretty much through with people who try and scare the masses into action. This is exactly how we got into this mess in the first place.
We need the border secured, and we need all immigration to be legal. I'm all for bringing the troops home tomorrow, and start putting them on the border, while respecting property rights. I'm actually ready for Texas to give the federal government the bird, and take action on it's own. National guard, state immigration officers, whatever it takes.
I'm not for more fear mongering hyperbole, such at this:
You should be terrified at what the future holds for all of us if you fail to get your congressional politicians to see the light and clean house.
I may be unoptimistic, or humorously grim, irritable, sardonic...I may be a lot of things.
Terrified?
No partner, I'm done with terrified. Terrified is what got us to this point in the first place.

but what he said about illegals is exactly what they are doing. And we have let this thing go way too long. We are terrified of the wrong things. We need to now be terrified with our eyes open.
what he said about illegals is exactly what they are doing
they? are we referring to them collectively?
Killing, raping, stealing is what SOME illegals are doing, not ALL... but already your comment is distracting from a more important point, and I'm chagrined that I'm forced to make the distinction.
You've justified to everyone who is anti- Ron Paul that we're all law breaking, political terrorists.
Because a small percentage of us have stooped to yellow tactics, we are all now "they".

he bought up a great idea. We should get people who have lost their jobs, their homes. People who are against open borders. People against the endless wars. Get all these people going to THEIR LOCAL senators and representative offices night and day. Camping out and wanting to talk to THEIR elected officials to VOICE their disapproval of their voting records.

Terrified little sheep.
I totally understand your point on being terrified
