It appears to me, that what Reid is saying is correct. Listen to the interviewer. He states if a "taxpayer" (one who is required to pay a tax) doesn't pay, they go to jail. That is correct.
What sets one up as a "taxpayer"? Either a TIN or a SSN. So, if one voluntarily uses one of these Corporate assigned numbers, there will always be a tax due.
The number is not the man, infact, it doesn't even belong to the man.

I don't have a SSN, but I do
I don't have a SSN, but I do have a SS card with a name and number on it that was entrusted to me by the SSA. That card is their property, not mine.
My parents had, ignorantly, applied for a relationship with the SSA on my behalf. The SSA then sent me a card and said place this in a safe place where you keep other valuable documents, but we retain ownership of it and if we ask for it back it must be returned...a trust agreement between me (the trustee), the SSA (the creator) and the US General Trust Fund (the beneficiary). Every time that number is in use, it is the Trust that is acting and not the man. So, anything that is acquired by the trust truly belongs to the beneficiary...
The most critical piece of verbiage in the Act states that it is "to raise revenue and for other purposes."
While the relationship with the Social Security Administration is a voluntary one, as set forth in the Social Security Act, it is nearly impossible to remove ones self from that system, as too many years of ignorance have elapsed and it has ensnared nearly everyone and every corporation.
I had, at one time, thought that the SSN was mine and in so doing created a general partnership with the Trust. Now let me ask you, what form does a general partnership file? And, what form is a federal employee supposed to file? If the SSN belongs to the government where is it located?

One of our biggest embarassments is admitting that Harry Reid is one of our senators...not to mention the NV GOP Convention renegades: Suzanne Lowden and Bob Beers. Thank heavens for the likes of the Terhune Family, Mike Weber, Carl Bunce, James Smack, and Chris Dyer....plus all of the delegates and volunteers who helped to complete the NV GOP Convention and who are leading our way back to Liberty.

he clearly has never had to think or talk about taxes before. Engaging him in a conversation is like carrying jello on a knife. Someone needs to stuff his brain matter back into his bowl head and push him towards home, and they better call ahead and make sure someone knows he is coming.

I stopped paying mine and they are coming at me full force. Good thing there are good people around me to help out. Looks like I will be going to the supreme court with my tax case. I have other friends who have stopped and there isnt any enforcement action at all. Because they dont own anything
