Zogby: Barr at 6% nationwide

A new Zogby poll shows Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr at 6% nationwide with healthy numbers among independent voters:
Bob Barr receives the support of 7% of voters who identify themselves as conservative or very conservative voters. Barr gets 43% of libertarians and 11% of independents.
These numbers are very encouraging. Bob’s message of Liberty for America is getting out into the mainstream. We need your help to keep it up. Sign up for your local Bob Barr 2008 Meetup group. Subscribe to the campaign YouTube channel and send videos to friends and family or join and promote the campaign on MySpace or Facebook.

Zogby: Barr at 6% Nationwide
In late June 2008, Ron Paul was interviewed by Wolf Blitzer on CNN News and was asked what he thought of Bob Barr. Here is Ron Paul's reply:
"Well I think he's running a very important race, and I'm encouraging him. I haven't endorsed him, but he's saying the kind of things I like to be heard and said. I hope he does real well. But, we also have Chuck Baldwin who runs on the Constitutional Party. His views are very very close to mine, and he worked very hard in my campaign. So for me to pick one over the other is not easy. I hope they both together get a lot of votes."
If Bob Barr is good enough for Ron Paul to encourage him, he is good enough for me to encourage, also. If Ron Paul was going to be on the General Election ballot, I would vote for him. Since he is not, I will gladly vote for Bob Barr. Compared to Obama and McCain, Bob Barr is much preferable.

About 70% of Ron Paul supporters must be trolls according to some people.
Here is Clyde Wilson, a very conservative commentator on the benefits of Bob Barr doing well:
"The victory of any Republican candidate except for Dr. Paul in the next Presidential election will have one certain result. It will destroy forever any hope of conservative influence on American political life."
I don't know if I agree with that but it's something to think about.

Well, Ron Paul said
he's probably not going to endorse him since both Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin are his friend, but he hope that Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin will get a lots of vote.
