Joel Stein is a nobody
And I really resented Soledad O'Brien calling Ron a 'flake' when we have cross-dressing, lisping, wife-cheating Rudy in the line up.
Somehow you know things in this country have turned commie when someone with an impeccable family life and who is speaking the truth about government corruption is considered not to be 'normal'. Plus the comment about Paul supporters not being good looking -- I take real offense to that!

Its just Fear of the Polls...
What you see in this Tucker interview is simply the "edgers"....
"Edgers" are those that like you, like what they hear, but then LOOK AROUND to see how "out there" they would be if they "joined in". Thus all the talk and laughter.... but not to worry, the minute Ron Paul "Catches on" they will jump on the bandwagon.
Read my new post about the Polls, Peter Hart's reseach.... and the GOOD news for Ron Paul revolutionaries.
Fear not the Polls, lets learn from them. The race is wide open.

I'm completely shocked...
I read the comments, then watched the video and I actually didn't think it was all that terrible... LOL It seemed to me like they were being sarcastic - but that it would work in Ron Paul's favor. OK, you can disagree with me if you want... but hey... maybe someone new to Ron Paul would watch that and find it all funny in that way and then check out why so many "nerds" (like themselves) like Ron Paul :D
I love being called a nerd, I feel so smart now!

what I mean is...
someone with 'smarts' will listen to that and wonder -- why there are so many people, especially so many young people 'liking what RP has to say' -- surely they'll google him after that.

Paul is excellent at expressing his message!
He's also far from boring! Who else can get people excited about these "obscure" topics. I take issue with labeling his issues "obscure". More like hidden from the general populace for the purpose of mass manipulation.
Joel Stein's bio. off of L.A. Times website
"Joel Stein is desperate for attention. He grew up in Edison, N.J., went to Stanford and then worked for Martha Stewart for a year. After two years of fact-checking at various publications, he got hired as a sports editor at Time Out New York. Two years later he lucked into a job as a staff writer for Time magazine, where over seven and a half years he wrote a dozen cover stories on subjects such as Michael Jordan, Las Vegas, the Internet bubble and — it being Time and he being a warm body in the office — low-carb diets.
Being desperate for attention, he has appeared on any TV show that asks him: VH1's "I Love the Decade You Tell Me I Love," HBO's "Phoning It In," Comedy Central's "Reel Comedy" and E! Entertainment's "101 Hottest Hot Hotties' Hotness."
After teaching a class in humor writing at Princeton, he moved to L.A. at the beginning of 2005 to write a column for the Los Angeles Times. He still contributes to Time and whatever magazines allow him to. But his heart belongs to you, L.A. Times reader. Only to you"
Joel Stein
He is also a syndicated collumnist. His article runs every Saturday in our local newspaper, right next to Garrison Keillor's.
I use to like to read his collumn.
What a patronizing ***....
"He's a cute little guy", "a terrible speaker", "far reaches of the campaign trail", "his supporters are nerds"....wow. This was an unprofessional, weak, patronizing segment. Oh, and Tucker dodges stating he supports Ron Paul when asked point blank at the end. Coward.
He's not a serious journalist
He is just trying to cash in on ron paul's popularity. Don't expect him to understand it.

my response to joel's "nerd" article
I'm a nerd with some pride. here's my response:

Whats up with that guy, i think somebody gave him a little tap
on the shoulder. For awhile he was very supportive and Ron Paul was his favorite and now he takes every opportunity to slam him.. I think somebody in power over there at msnbc got to him. sucks for tucker to have lost his liberty that way. If he's lucky Ron will win and he can be himself ..
Revenge of the NERDS!
First they said he was crazy, then it was racist, then criminal (the spamming issue) and now nerd...they keep trying to sling labels yet nothing seems to stick. Again I will repeat myself...Let them think whatever they want...this is not the Howard Dean camp repeated. They won't figure out who we are until election day.

Exactly!
Don't let this get you down at all. First of all, the Tucker piece is so obviously a smear campaign, it has no validity. The oldest trick in the book in a childish debate: if you can't attack the message, attack the messenger with name calling, etc.
We are going to dominate at the election booth. How many of you would chew your leg off, crawl through glass, and shiver on a cold day to get to the election booth for Ron Paul? How many Rudy or Hilliary supporters have our dedication?
We are going to be a powerful force on election day.
I don't get Tucker
For years he's talked about the fact that he's libertarian, he even voted for Ron Paul. Then he had Ron Paul on his show a few months back and it sounded like he was supporting everything Ron Paul said. Now all the sudden, when the topic of Ron Paul comes up, Tucker acts like he's all a big joke with no chance of getting elected.
easy
his paycheck comes from General Electric, a major defense contractor.
Ron Paul is about NOT buying more weapons to sell around the world.
Bad for GE stockholders, pink slip for Tucker.

Ron Paul Visits Tiger Town
CLEMSON, S.C. -- Republican candidate Ron Paul stopped by Tiger Town Friday afternoon.
Paul met with supporters at a rally at Clemson University. About 200 people attended the rally.
Paul said he is surprised by all the young people giving him support, but he said he believes it is because of his views on social security.
Paul's platform is that young people shouldn't get stuck with the tab for baby boomers.
200 people !? Closer to a 1000.

The official attendanceat the Clemson rally was "just below 700", rounded to 700, per the Director of the Strom Thurmond Institute who knows what the numbers are for his amphiteater with a mere sweep of the eye, from all the times he has counted/estimated. I was there and have this word from two of his close associates.
It was an awesomely beautiful day as well, thanks to our Creator!

Tucker always allows the
Tucker always allows the NeoCon's to reveal themselves, subjecting their desperation to the light of day. He learned that trick from Buchanan, I think.
He does...
You have to wonder if the average TV viewer picks on his tongue in cheek style. It keeps his bosses heat off him for showing overt support apparently?

Tucker voted for Ron Paul in 88.
That one statement was a clear message to his viewers.
It's getting harder and harder for him to carry the GE party line.
It's OK though, when Ron Paul has 12 million by December, and a army of volunteers, there will be a major shift.
