University political education is pathetic

My last two posts are thoughts on a couple of courses I have taken recently:

http://fearistyranny.wordpress.com/

Excerpts:

"Unfortunately, in order to have a 'political education' in this country, I only need to remember that libertarians hate seat-belts."

"I like studying the arguments of those who disagree with me, mostly because of the proof that they provide, that the American educational system is worthless, even at its highest levels."

"Most of government is unnecessary imposition, and its number one priority is to keep those imposed upon from realizing how sorely they are being screwed."

Thanks for listening. All my love to the liberty-minded.

Yes, you are right! A month

Yes, you are right! A month ago I met some girls from the US in Amsterdam, and I took them with my friends and girlfriend, to cruise on a boat canal cruise. We had much fun, but aside that.. One girl told me she studies politics in I believe New York, and when I asked her she claimed to know a lot about the constitution. Well, I examined her about it and it was REALLY pathetic. But same counts for Dutch people. They are so narrow minded when they learn politics on the university.. It is crazy..

You are an excellent writer

To quote you further and, perhaps, explain why the votes are also counted "for us":

“But,” we are told, “democracy allows the people to vote for new roles of government–roles the people want government to assume.” It is as if we are supposed to believe a warped version of history in which, against all evidence to the contrary, the horrific decisions of the masses–from enslavement to inquisition to lynching–are absolved, and the perpetrators are proven wise. I am not buying it.

PyraBang for Liberty

Yeah I tried that

Became a delegate only to watch Kentucky's GOP silence all questions and move forward with their support of Israel. Yes you heard it right people. KY's GOP has in their resolutions that we as a state openly support Israel were they to go to war today. Just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside about being an American
