On Tuesday, July 29th, the head of the "Star Wars" space weapons program under two U.S. presidents, Dr. Robert Bowman, will ask State Legislators to request the re-instatement of Dr. Kevin Barrett as a University of Wisconsin instructor.
Col. Bowman, a rocket scientist with a doctorate from Cal Tech who flew 101 combat missions in Vietnam as a fighter pilot, will present his request to the legislature at a press conference in the State Capitol building, Room 330 Southwest, at 11 a.m. Tuesday 7/29/08.
Kevin Barrett, the target of a 2006 witch-hunt by State Rep. Steve Nass, has not been rehired at UW-Madison, despite his repeated applications for open positions, since he finished teaching his controversial Islam course in fall 2006. His most recent application, for the spring 2008 semester, was rejected in favor of a less-qualified and less-experienced applicant.
Barrett was also turned down for a tenure-track position at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2006. Then-Dean of Humanities Howard Ross told Barrett "You were discriminated against." Ross, who was part of the hiring process, says that Barrett was the most qualified of the three finalists, but that the position was offered to the other two finalists because of Barrett's political views. When both of the less-qualified finalists turned down the job, the University closed the position, denying students Arabic and Humanities instruction, rather than hire Barrett, whose teaching has repeatedly received excellent reviews from colleagues and students alike. Bowman argues that Barrett should be rehired on free-speech and academic freedom grounds, regardless of the merits of his views on 9/11 and other political controversies. Additionally, Bowman -- a former fighter pilot who "knows the drill" regarding interceptions of errant airliners -- agrees with Barrett that the official story of 9/11 is "impossible" and that a genuine investigation, focusing on the possibility of official complicity, is urgently needed.

Barrett Predicts Brett Favre Will Return to the NFL

Today, while campaigning in Lone Rock, Wisconsin, Dr. Kevin Barrett predicted that quarterback Brett Favre would return to the NFL, throw at least 20 touchdown passes, and lead the Green Bay Packers back to the Superbowl.

Barrett believes that the marketing opportunities Favre brings to the table will be too much to resist for both Favre and Packers management. Since the Packers had the youngest team in the NFL last season, with Favre, they could be favored to win the Superbowl.

Barrett also believes that time has healed the wound felt by Favre, who was angry that greedy Packers management refused to sign wide receiver Randy Moss last season. The Packers could have gotten Moss for a 4th round draft pick, but instead, tried to hold out for a 5th round pick. Moss caught an NFL record 23 touchdown passes last season for the New England Patriots.

Kevin Barrett says; "A Brett Favre comeback will be good for the war-ravaged Wisconsin economy."

Other Predictions by Dr. Barrett:

1) The Milwaukee Brewers will make it to the World Series and possibly win it, further boosting Wisconsin's economy.

I agree that the documentary inadvertently supports the demolition theory. The most powerful segment is Dylan showing that Jennings retraction was BS by playing the actual tape. If the BBC goes so far to lie in their own documentary, then why should we believe anything they say? With that and some of the logical fallacies shown by the BBC one wonders, did they purposely sabotoge their own documentary?

I think the open minded viewer will see that the documentary opens more questions that the BBC can possibly answer, Especially when viewing their explanation of WTC 7 falling before it actually did. A skeptical mind wouldn't believe their story. In fact, a skeptical mind would wonder why the ones under scrutiny would be allowed to give answers at all without rebuttal. And the ones with questions were rebutted ad nauseum by the people the questions were about!

The BBC could have used the the Loose Change clip of Jennings full screen instead of showing Dylan with a hand held device where all you really get is the audio. Like the jerky camera shots of Silverstein, this is a production device to diminish the effect of seeing and hearing these statements in their full context and full impact while coming off as being objective by showing both sides. Why didn't they jerk the camera around with Nigro and heap on all kinds of video effects? Because seeing and hearing him completely reinforces the predetermined point they wanted to make. The good news is they have no real evidence to support their claims and need to resort to fancy video effects to make their point. As far as them purposely sabotaging their own film, I've wondered that myself and it's not out of the question. Let's pray that's true and that there are some people of good conscience involved in this production and at the BBC.

This hit piece seems to be aimed at the undecided element, the methodology
seems to have been to acknowledge much of the questions and evidence the truth movement
has put forward, but then to attempt to baffle the viewer with BS by completely ridiculing and dismissing
it all with false claims and emotive rhetoric.

It's a huge gamble though, and reflects a level of desperation, they must be worried about the forthcoming NIST report. Much of our strongest evidence
has now been put out over the major media airwaves for the first time, this may backfire and raise the curiosity of many
particularly as there are seemingly so many inaccuracies in the piece that can so easily be rebutted.

I would like to see a counter video doc using this BBC doc's errors as a point for a more thorough analysis. The documentarians could have delved into the workings of Ace Elevator, the Fire protection company that sprayed "something" on the WTC columns, all the companies and individuals, like Battelle, SAIC and Lawrence Livermore, who have done work on nano-thermite explosives, and actually featured more demo experts like Jowenko with opposing views.
Here's some comments I posted on another thread here:

Loizeaux reminds me of the carpenter who insists on still using hand drills when battery and electric are available.
The BBC could have asked him about his knowledge of exotic explosives and nano-thermites, and his knowledge of advanced military techniques for doing what he does...bringing buildings down. To put Mark Roberts in this piece is also an insult to investigative integrity.

The BBC piece was heavily weighted against controlled demolition at the end of the doc, the point in a story when the most powerful conclusions and questions should be answered. It's clear that they had a pre-defined point of view going into this doc. They tried to clean up their own doodoo with the Jane Standley thing without delving into who supplied and why she was supplied with erroneous information.

D for overall effort, because so much death lies at the feet of this grand deception.

Barry Jennings Uncut

I've been sitting on this interview for a while, but after viewing the latest BBC piece on WTC7, I feel the time has come to release it in its entirety.

After locating Barry in mid 2007, Jason and I visited him and he graciously granted us an interview during a lunch break. He had agreed to grant us an interview under the conditions that we, at no time, associate his interview with his place of employment.

Jason and I were so thrilled with the content of the interview that we decided to release a few bits and pieces of it on both our show and Alex's.

A few months later, as the film was nearing completion, I called Barry again to touch base and see how things were going. It took him a bit to remember who I was, but as soon as he did, he began complaining about phone calls to his place of employment and that he was in danger of losing his job. He requested to have his interview pulled from Loose Change, and I honored his request.

Fast forward to February, 2008, where I'm doing an interview with the BBC, and I'm informed by their crew that Barry told them the reason he asked for it to be pulled was because of the article on Prisonplanet claiming he was stepping over dead bodies, which he denies saying. I call Barry to attempt to rectify the situation, and he is adamant that he did not use the phrase "we were stepping over people"

Fast forward one more time to two days ago, when the BBC piece finally aired. I now feel an obligation to release his interview, in its entirety, into the public where it belongs for three reasons:

1) To see the difference between the interview he gave us, and the interview he gave the BBC.

2) To establish Barry's timeline in his own words.

3) To preserve his testimony, in his own words, for the historical record.

I have remained true to my word and kept his interview out of the film, however, I can no longer keep it from the public. They deserve to hear Barry's story, out of his own mouth.

As I say in the end of the video, I would appreciate it if Barry could enjoy his privacy and live his life in peace. My intention with releasing this is so his story can be told, not to cause him any further grief or suffering.

It is difficult for me to know where to begin peeling away the layers of misinformation the BBC peddled to their audience in last weeks exposé on the collapse of Building 7 of the World Trade Center in New York. There are so many people out there grinding away at the production, I don’t feel the need to repeat what they have already done with journeyman-like effectiveness, yet there is something that I have yet to see addressed that I feel is crucial to exposing the overall lack of trustworthiness of the piece. And there is another related aspect of it, that I feel may in fact, be almost an unintended admission, of sorts.

At issue? Mark Loizeaux’s direct misrepresentation of fact and Peter Hayden’s uncanny admission.

A Critical Examination

On July 6, 2008, BBC released a documentary examining the collapse of World Trade Center 7, on September 11, 2001. The film purported to "solve the final mystery" of 9/11 in regards to whether the collapse of the building was due to fire or controlled demolition. The film used interviews of people from both sides of the argument, as well as stock footage and reconstructions to show the viewer the cases to be made for each theory. This is the second film the BBC has created on the subject of alternative theories of 9/11.

The film is highly charged and controversial, with emotions running deep. In this review I will attempt to remove the emotional side of the film and simply look at the facts and opinions offered, their validity, and the BBC's attempt to make a "balanced" film.

Act I

The film opens with a quick introduction that thrusts the viewer into the chaos of 9/11 - the plane impacts and subsequent destruction of the World Trade Center towers that we are all familiar with. But in a rare event, the BBC finally choose to now focus their attention on the little known collapse of World Trade Center 7, almost a decade after the fact. Up until this point in time, WTC7 has largely been ignored in the media - with very small clips here and there, but never telling the whole story. In fact in its previous film, the BBC discussed WTC7 as a small side event and dismissed the controlled demolition claim purely on the word of a Popular Mechanics researcher. Now the BBC has returned and vows to do justice to the subject.

The one-hour BBC program The Third Tower should have a positive effect on spreading the truth about what happened to WTC 7. Despite its attempt to debunk by twisting and omitting facts, there is much to cheer about.

Here are 30 examples from the program:

1) There is a WTC 7, many have never heard of it.

2) No plane hit WTC 7.

3) WTC 7 fell down.

4) Several videos of WTC 7 falling down are shown.

5) The collapse is compared visually to a controlled demolition.

6) Barry Jennings tells of hearing multiple explosions in WTC 7.

7) Barry Jennings was told while in WTC 7 "Get out of there, get out of there now", which sounds very suspicious.

8) Barry Jennings' time-line is not contradicted by anything Barry Jennings says.

9) After seven years, no final report on the collapse of WTC 7 has appeared.

10) The program will generate sales and Internet hits of 'Loose Change'.

11) The program will help raise the profile of Dylan Avery, Richard Gage, and Steven Jones.

There are two possibilities:

1. WTC7 was the worlds first ever building to completely collapse as a result of structural failure due to fire.

2. WTC7 was NOT the worlds first ever building to completely collapse as a result of structural failure due to fire.

If it was the former, don't you think that would be worth mentioning in the news report? Pretty remarkable huh?

If it was the later, don't you think that at least ONE comparison with a similar disaster would be in order?

Conspiracy or no conspiracy, it was an awful news report. It puts the BBC on a journalistic par with Fox News and Dr Goebbels.

While I don't condone 9/11 truthers presenting speculative theories as fact, I can only applaud their desire to ask pertinent questions about the official story. Loudly and publicly.

Explained how WTC 7 came down.

Not one person in that 59 minute piece told me what happened...."oh, there were fires..." "oh there was danger..." "oh there was no way it was controlled demolition..."

I'm cool with that, but, why the hell is taking 82 months to get a handle on it....and after this video they still do not have a handle on it?

They talk to the FEMA guy and guess what? FEMA CUT AND RAN! They submitted a report to the government that CONCLUDED THEY THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT BROUGHT IT DOWN....

WHAT?!

So why didn't the BBC ask him why he submitted his report stating he had no effing idea what happened? In the video he seems to think he knew what happened. Why didn't he throw that into the report?

57 perimeter columns had to fail with one half of one second, This is the only way the nationally televised collapse behavior could be explained.
