CNBC ignores RP opening statement to Bernanke
I turned on CNBC to watch the Bernanke testimony, and they said he would be giving an identical opening statement and that they'd carry the Q&A portion live. I came back to the computer and left the audio on in the background.
Then I go back to glance at the TV and there's Ron Paul on screen in the inset, while they say that Bernanke is still giving his opening statement and how once the opening statement is done they'll carry the rest.
WTF??!?!?
I quickly go to C-Span3 online and hear just the end of Dr. Paul's opening statement, and hope it'll be YouTubed later. It was brilliant and took him to task, as you'd expect, saying that rather than a world-class regulator most seem to be calling for as the right answer to the current situation, what we really need is a sound and world-class dollar.
Can't wait for his Q&A portion, since this does seem to be an opening statement of some sort, but CNBC is full of crap when they say they'll carry all but the identical part repeated from yesterdays Senate Banking Committee appearance.

was listening to CSPAN satellite radio yesterday, and everytime, everytime someone with some non ass kissing questions were to be asked the would cut to a commercial. After half an hour i had to take a breather. Are all these elected officials just out there to kiss ass and make benny and hank feel good? This is non-sense.
