Well if alot of congressmen
Well if alot of congressmen heard this, I think things would change.. Now the guy said they could go to safe houses with their families. I know alot of people have alot of family. So I don't think it's true. They could just cut all government agencies by 25%. That'd shore up the $$$ for a tad while they figure out what to do. George Bush says stay the course, so with this he couldn't. And what would martial law do? 300 million folks are hard to patrol. Look at Katrina.. Couldn't get that right and there were only several thousands.. So I got a pit in my stomach until reading comments here then I began to think that it couldn't be true!
Maybe this is how they
will control 300M peolpe, if it's true?
Details of US microwave-weapon tests revealed

VOLUNTEERS taking part in tests of the Pentagon's "less-lethal" microwave weapon were banned from wearing glasses or contact lenses due to safety fears. The precautions raise concerns about how safe the Active Denial System (ADS) weapon would be if used in real crowd-control situations.
The ADS fires a 95-gigahertz microwave beam, which is supposed to heat skin and to cause pain but no physical damage (New Scientist, 27 October 2001, p 26). Little information about its effects has been released, but details of tests in 2003 and 2004 were revealed after Edward Hammond, director of the US Sunshine Project - an organisation campaigning against the use of biological and non-lethal weapons - requested them under the Freedom of Information Act.
The tests were carried out at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Two experiments tested pain tolerance levels, while in a third, a "limited military utility assessment", volunteers played the part of rioters or intruders and the ADS was used to drive them away.
The experimenters banned glasses and contact lenses to prevent possible eye damage to the subjects, and in the second and third tests removed any metallic objects such as coins and keys to stop hot spots being created on the skin. They also checked the volunteers' clothes for certain seams, buttons and zips which might also cause hot spots.
The ADS weapon's beam causes pain within 2 to 3 seconds and it becomes intolerable after less than 5 seconds. People's reflex responses to the pain is expected to force them to move out of the beam before their skin can be burnt.

I frankly don't see what is
I frankly don't see what is so incredibly "badass" about this weapon. Compare it to the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki....I think a big microwave "taser" is highly preferable to be zapped with.
Yes, it's sinister in intent, but compared to the hundreds of different kinds of military weapons that incinerate human beings or blow the arms and legs off little children...it doesn't exactly terrify me.

no one will work, everyone would just go on a "seek and destroy" mission to hunt those down who caused it.

Don't believe everything you read
The story was "leaked" by a crazy pastor who hasn't released the name of the Australian newspaper.
Doomsday prophets have been around for a LONG time, its a shame they keep on roping dopes with their BS.

Hey if a few more banks collapse.
and they can't quite seem to find more oil, then yeah I would have to say that this possibility looms on the horizon sooner than later. I grew a garden this year for the first time in my life. That should give you a bearing on how I feel.

Looks like a few more banks collapsed, after all.
(Understatement of the year)
Things are bad
There's no denying it. The economy is headed for the dumps. Unsubstantiated rumor from a crazy christian I don't think helps anyone. Maybe the story is true, but according to his website he sounds like an evangelical off his rocker.

BREAKING UNITED STATES NEWS
What was discussed at a closed session of the U.S. House of Representatives?
Tuesday March 25, 2008 7:37pm EST
BRISBANE, Australia - The House has held a closed session for the first time in 25 years and apparently discussed a hotly contested surveillance bill.
Republicans had requested privacy for what they termed "an honest debate" on the new Democratic eavesdropping measure.
Conspiracy theorists around the world have filled many pages of blogs and emails with theories as to why the public was prevented to hear what their elected representatives said and heard.
That is the nature of secrets: those "kept in the dark" want to know and in the absence of knowledge, seek answers.
Writers suggested that the special closed session of the U.S. House of Representatives discussed a lot more than the pending security surveillance provisions.
Last week's session was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed it's doors to the public.
Word has begun leaking from last weeks special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.
Theorists wrote "Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed: The imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008, the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009, the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse and advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government.
Also theorised was the detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA and the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses and the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest
Other answers included "the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada" (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool), the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic armageddon.
Members of Congress were FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed and ABC News via WCPO web site at the link below CONFIRMS congress members were FORBIDDEN to talk about it!
Several are so furious and concerned about the future of the country, they have begun leaking info. More details coming later today and over the weekend.

That is the problem with secrets and inadequate explanations for their necessity, imaginations run wild.

Who is this?
This is all from March. I wonder who the congressmen are who leaked it. Wish we knew who attended. I'd bet they all did or had access to the material if they were absent.
Someone on the
other thread made a good point. The meeting was only an hour how could they have discussed all those topics?

yes - i posted on this recently...

On March 13th 2008 there was a secret closed door meeting of The United States House Of Representatives in Washington. In the history of The United States this is only the fourth time a secret meeting was held by the house. Even though Representatives are sworn to secrecy by House Rules XVII, some of the members were so shocked, horrified, furious, and concerned about the future of America by what was revealed to them inside the secret meeting, that they have started to leak this secret information to independent news agencies around the world. The mass media said almost nothing about the secret meeting of the House, mentioning only one of the items being discussed. (The new surveillance techniques that are going to be used by the U.S. Government to watch all American citizens). The story was first released in a newspaper out of Brisbane, Australia revealing the contents of the secret U.S. Government meeting and plans for America including all of it’s citizens. Shortly there after, David J. Meyer from Last Trumpet Ministries found it and made it more available for the world to see.
Here is what was revealed:
* The imminent collapse of the U.S. Economy to occur sometime in late 2008
* The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances sometime in mid 2009
* The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse
* The advance round-ups of “insurgent U.S. Citizens” likely to move against the government
* The detention of those rounded up at The REX 84 Camps constructed throughout the United States
* The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses
* The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest
* The necessary and unavoidable merger of The U.S. with Canada and Mexico establishing The North American Union
* The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution.
Except for a few hundred thousand U.S. Patriots, most Americans have no clue what has really been going on within The United States over the past 100 years, and the sad thing is that most do not want to know the truth. The further you look into the rabbit hole, the deeper it gets. Go to any currency conversion site and convert U.S. dollars to Euros so you can see for yourself the massive decline of the dollar. Look at how much money is and has been spent on the Iraq War to date, ($12 billion per month). Look at our currency and when it stopped being backed by gold.
The Federal Reserve is not federal but a private bank who does not have Americans best interests at heart. We no longer have any manufacturing really based out of America and there is no way that our economy can survive this incredible strain very much longer. The IRS strong arms every American yearly with income taxes, yet there are no laws saying an income tax is to be paid.

"The essence of freedom is the proper limitation of government". ~ Founding Fathers
Of course this is true - one
Of course this is true - one only has to realize that no matter how much oil we try to find - even if we found billions of barrels in the US tomorrow - the collapse of this country has been inevitable for a while now. The problem isn't our oil - it's that we've got millions of people unemployed and unable to find employment that will pay their bills - therefore, we have millions of homes sitting vacant, very little to no money being saved in our banks, and trillioins of barrels of oil ISN'T GOING TO GIVE ALL OF THESE PEOPLE JOBS AND THE MEANS TO SURVIVE.
Look at how many homes have been lost and now sit empty accumulating dust and ending up the homes of various pests. The banks let it go to far. Instead of working with people to restructure their loans so they could make payments that were reasonable yet affordable, they decided it was better to get nothing, kick everyone out of their homes, and flood the market with foreclosures - while simultaneously tightening the loan requirements so no one could possibly finance the properties with or without the credit or collateral. Tell, me, how could anyone possibly perceive this as good sense.
In the meantime, America has outsourced nearly every one of it's manufacturing and production industries - particularly the ones that got us through the Depression in the 20's - so now we are literally unable to sustain ourselves. The majority of Americans do not even have the basic survival skills the would need in the event of a collapse. We now are primarily a service and hospitality based employment pool - well, how many people will be touring America - particularly with the global economic crises underway?
Look at in another way - we've got more than 480,000 people who have lost their jobs since January of this year - that is through June - and there are currently approx 35 million people receiving food stamps right now - a clear indicator that unemployment is MUCH higher than they say it is - now, on top of all these people not working - or working very little, we've got hundreds of thousands of businesses that are failing in addition to the banks -
Our government is funded from the Treasury and what is borrowed - what do you think is going to happen at the beginning of next year when all of the businesses and people go to file taxes and they have little to no income and in the case of businesses - severe losses? I'll give you a hint - the Treasury will find itself SEVERELY lacking any financial resources - which our Congress has conveniently already spent - so what do you think is going to happen?
I don't believe that it is inconceivable that Congress would want to discuss the availability of safe locations for them and their families to go when things come to a head - i'd be shocked if they had the backbone to actually stand firm that they did the right decisions. Americans have become so pacified that we're letting them spoonfeed us with whatever they choose and we meekly take it as truth.
Anyone wiht common sense can see what is happening if you really stop to look around. Our country is heading for disaster and there is nothing that we can do now to stop it - all we can do is try to prepare for it as best we can and pray for a miracle i guess. if someone would get a clue and realize what is coming and the inability to stop it, maybe they would reopen some of our prodcution facilities, start planning community farming/produce coops and such - that is what needs to happen because right now we don't have the resources to sustain ourselves - it will be kind of comical if there isn't some kind of divine intervention - to see Canada and MExico militaries standing firm to keep americans out won't it? Irony at its best.
We need part 2
Man, if this is true what the hell am I still doing in America?
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Good luck getting out -
Good luck getting out - Canada's waiting list is already two+ years long - and you have to take a test to ensure that you even qualify to get in and be able to prove it as well - and then it will take a year or so for your family - if you have one - to join you.
Mexico is still open I guess - but my guess is that will not be far enough to get away from the problems America is facing - as they will directly impact Mexico.......

I understand the secret session took place
I didn't see in your videos any congressman telling exactly what happened during the secret session-just a bunch of congressmen protesting the secret session.
The radio host from the post's link contends the secret session was about the imminent threat of martial law due to the financial collapse of America and ways that Congressmen can be safely hid from the civil war that might erupt inside America during Civil war.
I'm pretty sure America's finances are going down the tubes, but holding a session to alert the congressmen about safe passageways out of the ensuing riots is just too much to keep bottled up.
