Are you kidding me??!! Only 70,000 people on the FREE Campaign for Liberty!!
Submitted by crazycarman on Thu, 07/17/2008 - 21:30This really troubles me... we supposedly have over 1.2 MILLION people that voted for our beloved Doctor but only 70,000 people that have signed up for our FREE Campaign for Liberty!! Folks... that is only 17%!!!
What do we have to do???
Whatever it is... we better do it NOW!!
The longer we wait and do not wake our fellow Patriots up, the longer we're to wait to see the fruits of our R3volution!!
Let's get going people!!
I'm no saint, nor do I profess to be.... many times in this journey I've kicked myself in the a$$ for not doing as much as I could.
But we need to keep the message alive and strong.
Ron Paul said something in the interview that Rand posted (the one from Kentucky called One To One) and at the end of the interview he said "I couldn't stop this if I tried".
Let's not let him down fellow Patriots!!
Quite frankly in the little
Quite frankly in the little campaigning being done for the organization, it looks like we are campaigning for book sales more than the organization. The Campaign for Liberty logo and web site are not very large at all on these St. Paul billboards.
The problem is
No one sees the problem.
I was talking to a person yesterday about the IndyMac scandal and he blamed Michael Schumer for sending a message about the troubles at IndyMac. I tried to explain to him that Mike's just the messenger, but the message was created by the Federal Reserve. He couldn't see it and I see that happening all over the place.
No one knows the news because the news isn't reported. I watch the Twilight Zone to see reality. The Onion is the most honest news source.

Here's some ideas I'm getting started in my own area:
-A community based care network of Ron Paul supporters who volunteer at retirement homes, hospitals, clinics, parks, babysitters, etc.
-A bartering system and self sufficiency system to educate people to get off the grids and make their own heat and electricity and trade rather than use money
We can be not just the media, but everything-its about associating rather than disassociating. We can be, if we just work together.

We'd have 140,000.
If we each got 3 more people, and taught them to get 3 more...
We'd have millions before we know it.
I emailed my brother this morning...........
and asked him if he would sign up, and when I went to add the CFL link to another email, I saw his name go across the screen. That easy! Just ask.

what I am saying. It is just that easy. But let us assume that the 70,000 are not eager beavers like us. If 1/3 of the 70,000 signed up 2 people, Goal is met. We don't need to spend any money on slim jims that will get thrown away. Ask people to join or ask them for their email address and zip and tell them that you will register them. They can go check out the site at their own will. They will be more curious if you say I'm going to sign you up. Obviously if they give permission, they will be curious. I'm recruiting at least 2 tonight. I'm not going to wait for the sign up bomb. But when that happens, I will sign up more.

RP may be way crazy like a fox. Consider:
If RP were still actively campaigning for office, energies to work against him would continue to do their dirty work. Any mention of his name would continue to be squelched and brushed off as a "longshot kook."
Presently, RP is no longer viewed as an active threat. And suddenly, he is everywhere, getting interviews on TV, being lauded for his economics and Constitutional wisdom in newspapers, etc. He and his message are spontaneously getting disseminated in degrees that we did not see while he was being actively censored by the media and the powers that be.
Whether this was his game plan or not, it is CLEAR that since he stopped actively campaigning for the Oval Office (and particular, in the past week or two), RP awareness is shooting upwards. It's up to us to fire up the booster rockets to ensure that message goes soaring far and wide.

This needs to get on Twitter and FriendFeed as well. Right now those networks are hot. Also if there are any Second Lifers out there I I have access to programming on SLCTV so if you have any material or ideas let me know.
Also don't forget Facebook and MySPace. Post a link to your favourite Ron Paul vid. I'll probably post the Kudlow vid because I have a business audience. Post a link to your favourite or one that best suits your contacts.
We need a nice easily forwarded html email with links to the vids. There should be a clear simple call to action. It would be nice if we could get some campaign specific vids too. Start forwarding to your address book and ask them to forward to their friends and family.
Dr Paul will continue to get a lot of press on economic issues and together with the upcoming RNC, he is getting hard to ignore. This is a prime time to ramp up the campaign in the inboxes.

Bathroom stalls at sporting arenas
There was a big playoff game and I left Ron Paul propaganda on the back of the door to each stall. I don't know how many hundreds saw these during the course of the game but there was a line for the bathroom ! People do have a moment to read and we have their undivided attention.
