Let's step it up!

Ron Paul is running out of time to pull off the upset of the Century. His campaign is going to have to be very decisive and aggresive. The shadow convention is a great idea, but let's leverage it to the hilt! Enlist more, and more speakers like Devvy Kidd, Roy Moore, invite Glen Beck, Judge Neopolatian....it's time to pull out ALL THE STOPS! And be prepared to name Jesse Ventura as your V.P. running mate, and watch the fervor build. Jesse is a popular, no nonsense type that won't be "bullied" by the press OR the GOP.

Ron Paul needs some help with "official spokespeople". One of the reasons he has been so diminished in the press, is that the campaign does not enlist the help of others who would be more than happy to be Ron Paul "spokespeople".. That leaves Ron out there to fend for himself, which as we all know, didn't go to well during the primary season.

When did Ventura leave the US?

Isn't there a requirement that he live in the US for the 14 previous years to be President (or VP)?

Ron Pauley beer.

This idea just came to me. We here on dailypaul often like to have a drink to Ron Paul. Some even have suggested someone should make a beer and name it Ron Pauley beer.

My husband likes a dark beer called Black Dog Ale. It must be a small type brewery that makes it because it is hard to come by. Anyway, I thought I might try to write them and suggest to them that they make a limited edition Ron Pauley beer for the week of the Ron Paul convention in Minneapolis. Any thoughts?

Edit.
I went ahead and emailed Spanish Peaks Brewing Co., makers of Black Dog Ale, with my Ron Pauley limited edition beer idea. Hoping for a reply.

If DVDs For Delegates...

adds my latest slide show, "Our Heritage," to its package, I firmly believe enough delegates will be swayed to nominate Ron Paul as the Republican candidate for President.

It's that powerful...

Katherine Albrecht VP!

Great Idea! just remember the campaigning is not over, perhaps some of you who took your signs down should put them back up.

Ventura for VP

But, Katherine Albrecht in the cabinet. She is not well enough known to create the excitement, but she deserves to be vp or something to her liking.

Jesse's ego is a problem

he's commented that Ron Paul can be his "VP", which I view as disrespectful and condescending and honestly, ignorant.

Jesse's other problem is family-he doesn't want his in the spotlight. For many VP's, however, this normally isn't a problem. But today, with our banker controlled media-who knows?

Jesse ran for the border and if he doesn't come back there are plenty of other alternatives-Peter Schiff, Alex Jones (wouldn't that be a hoot), Katherine Albrecht. Good to dream, now back to work.

I have to agree with you

I have to agree with you regarding Ron Paul's status as statesman--although, at least, Ventura has been Governor, and some people perceive Governor as a "presidential qualification".

I also

agree with the two of you. Hopefully he will find his way. One session for an afternoon with Dr. Paul should set him straight.

However, isn't there some kind of sore loser law in some states that says a candidate cannot run independent? But could as a vp.

Jesse says all that about his family for senate, but the vp or pres. are a different reward system. That might be worth it. Sure seemed like he thought so on faux and friends.

A Paul/Ventura ticket

is a sure win, imo...they complement each other so well...
