Huge Blow to Chuck Baldwin and the CP - They Lose California Ballot Access

This is a huge blow the the Chuck Baldwin campaign and the Constitution Party as it would be nearly impossible for them to get enough signatures to get a new state party on the ballot.
The AIP also nominated NeoCon Alan Keyes at their state convention, this nomination followed the June 27, 2008, affiliation of the American Independent Party with America's Independent Party of Fenton, MI, thus making it the third largest national political party from its inception. State Chairman Edward C. Noonan, at the filing in Sacramento of the new affiliation on June 27, 2008, stated, "We believe it is time to affiliate with a new party, one that has a will to win!"

All Ron Paul needs to do is to reactivate his campaign
he is on the ballots. The add Jesse Ventura as his running mate and we win!

Well, it's academic to argue over it now, because I know he won't run Third Party. But I think if Dr. Paul switched parties right now, he would retain his seat and run unopposed.

I know this won't
sit well with many here but that is the reason I will vote Barr if Ron Paul isn't on the ballot. I think a good tipping of power will slow these idiots in Washington down long enough for this movement to work but that is my opinion. I think we must, among the many things we must change, fix ballot access in every state. I would think if Baldwin had been able to get ballot access and equal time in the debates we would have a real choice. We need to fix this State issue at the local level so every American can have a real choice. One last point I would like to make, if we had been involved at the local level with the American Independent Party prior to this election cycle than Baldwin would be on the ballot there.

Okay from what I can tell the Secretary of State chose the group that elected Alan Keyes for President. They are the same group that left the CP and joined the other party. From what I can tell, the CP/Baldwin is taking the Secretary of State to court to stop this, they are claiming the State Convention was improper. The CP is purposely leaving them on their website. Those forums have people on both side of the issue, so its hard to tell who is right or wrong. But what thing is for sure, the California Secretary of State does not have Baldwin as the Candidate, they have Keyes as of now -
Even though I am a Barr supporter, I hope Baldwin gets on the California Ballot, Chuck is a good guy and if Barr wasn't running I would support him.

I feel exactly the same way, and I think that because Chuck Baldwin is closest to Ron Paul, they will do anything to stop him.

You obviously did not listen to Ron Paul one bit - Ron Paul has said over and over again that's its not about him its about the message. Why do you think he has the campaign for liberty? Bob Barr is the only one in this election cycle that is getting our message out. Thats whats important.
Baldwin has absolutely no media coverage and is not getting the message out.
But hey vote for whoever obviously we all campaigned our asses off for Dr Paul and millions of people had the exact same attitude as you and refused to vote for Dr Paul and we got McCain- nice

Barr shows no signs, to me, of being a Libertarian. Wayne Root not only doesn't seem to be a Libertarian--he doesn't even seem smart enough to spell the word.
Baldwin isn't doing well, either, but at least he isn't a fake.
