My take on Bob Barr supporters
Take number one- You were never a Ron Paul supporter in the first place, and you are here to steal votes from Paul to give to Barr.
Take number two- You were a Ron Paul supporter and because you lack any fortitude, at the first sign of some opposition and obstacles to climb you run away like a p@#$% (cat).
I wil say I prefer the number ones over the number twos on this site because they never got to know who Ron Paul is so I understand that they are ignorant, I cannot blame them for their blindness. My take on the number twos is that we can't really use your help anyway because Revolutions take determination, and I want to know people on here that have our back, apparentely you do not so you are useless to me and this Revolution. Anyway don't start bitchin at me saying we have to prepare in case Ron Paul doesn't make it, save your excuses for someone else. What if the delegates heading to the National Convention thought like you, we would have no chance, so do us all a favor and keep your back up plans to yourself. Do you think it will take us two months to prepare for who to vote for if Ron Paul is not one of our choices. It will take five minutes, all we will have to do is look at the person's past voting record to make an informed decision. I am sure the delegates appreciate the spit you are flinging in their face. If the crap hits the fan with economic meltdown, I sure hope I don't have to depend on you for anything, you will probably be hiding in a corner somewhere, while us Ron Paul supporters are trying to save your ass and our own. It is the doers and have dones that still have hope, it is the people who have done nothing for this Revolution that have the ability to switch candidates so easily. We have sweated for Ron Paul, do you think we should stop now and have all that hard work done in vain for some guy who pops up out of nowhere and demands our vote. Ron Paul has worked his ass off for US for over 30 years and you can't even give him the respect of supporting him until the end? You can't even finish your support for him for what 2 years maximum since you have heard of him. You make me want to puke. If you were a number 1 in this thread I expect you to post negatively against this, and I welcome it. If you are a number 2 save your breath, you are useless to me. I am supporting our delegates until the end, I am supporting Ron Paul to the end. I am not a quitter.

Tog you are a great R3VOLutionary and I know you will see the movement to the end.And I respect you for that but to not have another alternative is simply suicidal. I am in this to WIN and for me it means breaking the two party system the one that have excluded Paul and all his ideals.I know a national delegate in my precent and have tried to share with him the DVD for delegates all to no avail.He even admits he threw it in the garbage.This is what we are up against in the RNC.I ve even tried to hand national delegates acopy of the REVOLUTION manefesto and they wouldnt even accept it So I am very proud of each and everyone of you hard work. but I simply brought this up now because guite simply we must because after the convention might be too late.I still salute you and too all those who have worked hard and continue to work hard for the Revolution.
How will you gain
by following the same path? Is this not the same path of acceptance, that got us into this very mess we are currently in? Stear clear of that path my friend. It's a dark dusty road that leads to nowhere. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day and change is made one person at a time....Never give up, and never compromise with your convictions....

I have been a member of the Daily Paul for 1 year and 10 weeks. I was one of its first financial contributers. I organized a Ron Paul Meetup Group and made the legal maximum contribution to his Presidential campaign. So I have the right to post forum comments here. Ron Paul has suspended his Presidential campaign and has not been invited to speak at the Republican Convention. I joined the Campaign for Liberty and if I lived in the US, I would go to the Rally for the Republic. Ron Paul said that he is encouraging Bob Barr and just because Barr didn't vote correctly on every issue in the past is no reason Barr can't speak out for Liberty in the present. Ron Paul said that Bob Barr is serving a very useful purpose in the Presidential campaign by promoting the US Constitution and saying the right things about individual liberty and peace. I will continue to contribute to Ron Paul's Congressional campaigns, but now in the Presidential Election, Bob Barr is our best choice. I am doing everything I can to ensure that the American people have a small government choice on the Presidential ballot. Otherwise, it will either be McCain or Obama.

Bob Barr has dedicated his life to serve this country. He has been a CIA man, doing what all patriotic people do in the CIA. He was a great prosecutor in the war on drugs. God knows how many non violent self prescribers would be running on the streets if he hadn't done such a great job.

Bob Barr is a great hero. He might all his adult life misunderstood the constitution and his duty to it. But now with the revolution making great strides, I'm sure the kind people at CIA are seeing us in a different light, and this might have influenced Mr. Barr.

Really the question is not
Really the question is not who you are supporting, but what are you doing? My argument to all the Barr supporters is that why are they wasting their time and ours on this site by trying to garner support for a candidate instead of doing what we gotta do to have real results....
The answer my friends is EDUCATION.... We need to work at the local level to educate.... we need to work at the national level by educating the DELEGATES.... they are the people that count! Having someone on the presidential debates spouting our views won't work.... been there, done that! The people that do the deciding are the DELEGATES and that's why dvds4delegates is so important!
Time is of the essence... if we are going to spend time arguing about who the movement should be behind, we are just wasting time.... and you are really aggravating people like me who are in this movement because we were awakened by a person who is just really hard to replace. And our eyes have been opened to the fact that we no longer will vote for second best!
So you go ahead and vote for who you want to vote and stop trying to get this movement behind Barr... it just won't happen. BUT we can work together to make a real difference by working on this brilliant project... this is going to take more than one election season to work but we CAN DO IT!

If your Bob Barr promoting causes one delegate to give up on going to the convention, I say everything you have done before promoting Barr on this site, for Ron Paul, is null and void. You've violated this site's rules so many times I've lost count. In fact, this thread is nothing but flame-baiting and bashing a candidate (you might want to read the rules, bashing other candidates isn't welcome).
After you broke the rules for the umpteenth time, you were banned. What'd you do? You thumbed your nose at that (and at this site, it's owner, and common decency) by sneaking in under another name.
This thread poses the blatantly false dichotomy (look that phrase up if you must) that anyone considering supporting Barr is either an infiltrator trying to hurt Paul or a quitter. That, sir, is offensive to my sense of both civility and logic.

My (and many other Paul and Barr supporters opinion) is to hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I am supporting both Ron Paul and Bob Barr. I appreciate your comments. I understand it is the message, but isn't there a site devoted to the message called www.campaignforliberty.com. I am not saying it is you, but there are people on this site whos one and only intention is to grab votes for Barr and Baldwin. I may support one of these two candidates if it comes down to it, and they are my only two choices left. I will say I would definitely lean towards Baldwin, if I am left to make a choice. I do not know if Barr is sincere, and I don't think it is time to take any chances. I am not saying Barr is insincere, but I do think the shadow government will try to cover all their bases, and now is not the time to take chances. I will say I am hoping we can rally behind Ron Paul until we no longer have him as an option, I am hoping it will not come down to that. I am saying there are delegates who come on to this site, who are our last chance at getting Ron Paul in. Let's give them the chance before we start finding alternatives. Let's put faith in them until they finish and do all they can for us. We can't give up on those who haven't given up, they are spending their time and money for you and me. Let's back them, and see what happens.
