I heard DP on Beck live yesterday it was a great way to start my day, but DP said something that got me thinking. He said THEY (the republican party) think that his supporters are going to the convention to cause problems etc. so I decided to have my own Rally up the street.
This is where it gets disturbing. Do you think DP is afraid that some of us might cause problems and wants to distract our attention from the convention to attend the rally? And what about the delegates are they to go to the convention or to the rally? What's the schedule for the convention compared to the rally?
I feel in my heart that the CFL is a clear statement to us that he is really not wasting any more time with aspirations of being nominated. The mission statement on CFL is really about education and bringing about a slow change from the bottom up. I know it's hard to let go of our goal of having him as president, but I think he has made it clear that he wants to get our heads pointed in the right direction.
Maybe the rally is the midnight hour, knowing that for many of us it's not over until it's over. The night of the rally will really be the end of our dreams of him as President and I imagine he will take that time to get us pointed in the right direction.
I know I have rambled a bit, but the way he said what he said on Beck, just sounded like he too might be worried that we will cause problems at the convention or more likely we will be accused of causing problems.

The dissidents, non-conformists, are accused of aggression. They (we) are all guilty of shaming the kleptocracy. I suspect Republican tricksters are going to be paying troublemakers to make trouble, so they look legitimate while we appear nutty.
We had better go up the street, and be on our best behavior so we contrast ourselves against the real hooligans that will be expressing their senseless frustration at their leaders they adore but cannot blame for betraying and using them.
Paul already said his run is over, but not the revolution. The revolution isn't going to end, even if we quit. Truth doesn't end. Rationality doesn't end. Either we choose to loose for the right thing, or, like our opponents, choose the winning side of the wrong thing.
The way I see it, to be a man is to choose true principles. To be an animal is to choose the winning side to victimize the loosing. We (libertarians and certain religious) believe man is an end in himself. Democrats, as communists, believe man is an end to the state. Republicans the subjection of the weak to the strong, to the end they stay kings of the hill.
I'm going to try to go, to meet others (and find encouragement to comfort my disgust with 90% of my comrades) and spite the Republicans. They know every Ron Paul activist is a vote they are not going to have. Every one of us is an indictment of their corruption and treason!
God bless him, this isn't about Ron Paul; he often says so. This is for each of us. We didn't make this world, it was here before us and shall be here after us. It's God's. It our honor to choose a "losing" course to honor what's right and condemn what's wrong.
The atheist Ayn Rand would no doubt say this differently. Perhaps she'd say that if we give in to corrupt pragmatism, we'll find the world and each other as disgusting and despicable as our opponents do, rather than an opportunity to take pride in our heroic, pyihric battle.

didn't say that 'he disagreed' because he was on the radio. People are more candid on radio, than on their tv shows.
"It must have scared the crap out of you to hear Obama" "And you thought he was running for president of the United States." Exactly. Obama is running for the world.
I really, really loved this interview, because Dr. Paul cut to the chase and really did address the real issues of globalism vs. sovereignty and that is a must.
Glenn's idea to have a Campaign for Liberty rally at the Democratic Convention is an excellent idea. We really, really should be doing that. Dr. Paul is the president for all the people, not just the Republicans. He is really the president for the individual. He is very much against collectivism and what greater collectivism is there than our two stupid parties. Those parties should be abolished.
I also think the news puppets of the elites have to say some of the things that we all KNOW or else they totally lose us. So they act as if they know and are on our side and then they say, ain't it awful and imply that we can just do nothing about it except vote for the lesser of two evils. Glenn doesn't say, "Dr. Paul, we have to get you into the presidency. What can I do to help." So again, you have to wonder if he is just trying to get in front of our group and change their direction. That is how they tool us around, Rush, O'Reilly and all the elite puppets.
"I also think the news puppets of the elites have to say some of the things that we all KNOW or else they totally lose us."
Of course! That's what 90% of America does when they choose their candidate - its who they "Identify" with (race, gender, religion, fashion, pastimes, sports, music, et.).
Everything is marketed in that way, so of course its beyond the comprehension of anyone in the mass media that a human being might operate on some other premise, like reason based in the absolute morality of objective truth.
I suppose we also vote on whom we identify with. Rand describes love as arising from admiration of those who share our values. So its the nature of the values a person holds that makes their gut-feelings of identification constructive or destructive.
That's why I don't think Glen Beck is really one of us. I share many of his sentiments and his zeal, but he doesn't seem philosophically rooted.
I don't watch often, but a day ago he seemed to be soliciting pitch-forks. Its the kind of hysterical theatrics code-pink or some stunt teenage anarchist pie-throwers would pull. The klepto-crats are well aware from poles they are unpopular. Mere theatrics flatter them. And the more force is threatened and used, the more money they print for their goons.
If they could be moved by reason and compassion, I should think sending pictures of the rotting corpses in ruins of New Orleans post-Katrina should communicate the consequences of the rapid collapse of a dysfunctional society and government.

posted below by Lynnopoly given by Glenn. Wow. He is either passionate, or a very, very good actor. I think the later, mixed with some of the former. But he is a better speech deliverer than he is a talk show host. He cries and cries, literally, about 9-11. Wonder if he is fully tuned in to just how all that happened. Talk about having something to cry about!!!! When you really realize what happened, oh, Dear God, it is insanity.
I CONSTANTLY listen to Glenn Beck 'state' something as if it is absolute fact- then later on, say he is 'waking up,' or 'changing his views' regarding that issue.
He USED to think Ron Paul was also wrong on economic issues (or at least exaggerated them) YET NOW he agrees with him... 'Yet' (luckily he didn't do it here) he will typically go out of his way to say he thinks Ron Paul is wrong on other things-
Isn't it possible that 'maybe' just 'maybe'- Glenn Beck is wrong on his other views, such as he admits he was on economic views and save most everyone some time and heart ache? If you can site yourself being 'inaccurate' many times, YET still think you are 'without question' accurate on other policies- WOULDN'T it be 'wise' to consider you could be 'unenlightened' on those other aspects as well???
Just a hunch but if I found myself eating my words a lot- I'd be more careful about spouting off certain things with such 'conviction' knowing it will likely too become your next 'meal'.
Well said. I agree. Beck will usually start his interview off with a number describing how Ron is agreeable, yet not. Fool of a man if I have ever seen one.
I love it because I can send these to people and they will get a lot of information in just a few minutes time. Remember, the fat lady ain't sung yet so we never know, do we?

I'm suspicious of Beck, although I find him the least offensive journalist on TV.
He isn't principled. Unlike Ron Paul, who subscribes to solid, consistent, rational philosophy (Austrian Economics and Ayn Rand), Beck is pragmatic, traditional and emotional.
Beck asks Paul about the necessity of voting (accepting) the lesser of two evils - Paul explained the rational was self-fullfiling. Would Beck ask that if he didn't have a fatalist perspective, or subscribe to the validity of the power/popular Republican/Democrat dichotomy?
As disgusting as neo-con Bill Oreilly is, he tells his listeners to take specific action like boycotting, or firing specific judges that are lenient to the molesters he secretly envies.
What action does Beck advocate? CNN is the station of whining fatalism. Ideas in an independent (vs. servile) actor are demands for action. Lou Dobbs, Beck and many others in the media constantly complain "ain't it awful". Men of action take action, not merely moan like whipped helpless slaves. The constant complaining without action teaches that example - that all we can do is complain about our plight.
As for the dollar crashing, has anyone wondered if there is an International banker conspiracy to plunder America by crashing our central bank and dollar, as in Argentina, Mexico, and elsewhere? Our politicians would have to be complicit, with off-shore accounts with Euros in them.
Probably my paranoia showing again. One origin of fallacious conspiracy theories is the attribution of malevolence where there is merely stupidity and its inevitable consequences. Why shouldn't the sharks devour a wounded cohort?

treatment of Dr. Paul; not at all. He does have an audience, whatever their composition or numbers. If there's an opportunity for folks like Dr. Paul or Peter Schiff to get their message out to an audience, then it seems worthy to at least consider the possibilities. If it's done via Beck's program (or someone else's program) then it doesn't take money from us and it isn't displayed with some political advertising acknowledgement. Our opposition employed incremental tactics over a long period of time and took every opportunity to trumpet their message to the public. I don't like the result, but one has to acknowledge their persistence in obtaining their terrible objectives. If Beck displays signs of warming up to the message, then I think we should consider using him, or his program, as a device to trumpet our message to that same public.
Best regards.

I wish Glenn Beck would be a 'little' LESS sure of himself...
GO RON PAUL!!!!!!
There is something that rubs me the wrong way about him.
Well said. I agree. Beck will usually start his interview off with a number describing how Ron is agreeable, yet not. Fool of a man if I have ever seen one.

That was great stuff!
I love it because I can send these to people and they will get a lot of information in just a few minutes time. Remember, the fat lady ain't sung yet so we never know, do we?

Will Beck really help us?

Are you an idiot?
Beck will use Ron Paul to boost his ratings...that's all.
All those things are true. I do not approve of Beck's past
treatment of Dr.
