What is Obama up to, he signs the FISA bill, and now is saying this. Could it be because of his supporters blowback?
WASHINGTON - Barack Obama told House Democrats on Tuesday that as president he would order his attorney general to scour White House executive orders and expunge any that "trample on liberty," several lawmakers said.
Presidents, as head of the executive branch of government, issue such orders to direct operations of executive branch agencies, like the Justice Department and the CIA. For example, President Bush used an executive order last year to breathe new life into the CIA's controversial terror interrogation program that allowed harsh questioning of suspects.
Obama "talked about how his attorney general is to review every executive order and immediately eliminate those that trample on liberty," said Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y.
"He indicated there would be a review in his administration," said Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., the House majority whip.
This guy is either one huge lier, or he has no idea who the hell he is, and what he is doing.

Sounds good, and I'm all for it. If Obama is our next president, I welcome him doing this. It would be one of the best things for our country I believe.
I suspect it's just political tricks to get elected though, and I honestly don't think Obama truly knows what liberty is.
However, the rest of what Obama will do if elected, will offset any possible good that scrapping unconstitutional executive orders might do.
I'm not holding my breath waiting on this to happen.
Not that I believe Obama, but the statement:
"his attorney general is to review every executive order and immediately eliminate those that trample on liberty", if true, would mean there would be little left of the executive orders......which would not be a bad thing.
I'm afraid that I think it unlikely that Obama would actually lift a finger to cause such a thing to be done.

I don't like the fact that he never said it himself
...but I don't doubt at all that this is directed toward those who were upset about him selling out the 4th amendment.
