How 'LONG' do we continue to 'try' to wake people up?...

0 votes

My response to this is- 'UNTIL.' We do it 'until' people wake up. We can get frustrated and WISH people would have woken up by now, (i.e. Lee Iacocca), to Ron Paul and his message...

We can get bitter, resentful, and frustrated (which are ALL understandable), it can be frustrating at times... but I 'encourage' everyone to not give up and throw in the towel.

Ron Paul could have given up DECADES ago- but he didn't. He hasn't. He has continued, and here we are today... 'IF' Ron Paul had thrown in the towel NONE of us would be here today.

We need to have the courage of Ron Paul. WE DON'T 'GIVE UP,' WE WORK 'UNTIL' IT WORKS, AND BECOMES EFFECTIVE.

NEVER, EVER GIVE UP!

I have been in the movement since 1991. My family, friends and colleagues have laughed at me, called me crazy, etc. I never got defensive or argued with them, but I never gave up. Slowly but surely some have been coming around. Anyone that gives up when they hit a road bump wasn't needed anyway. The movement will shake itself out. Cream always rises to the top.

Freedom Forever!

"The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy...You have to understand most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it". - Morpheus

I've already alienated anyone that I was going to.

The message is important enough to ruffle a few feathers if needed.

Until they put me in the ground and throw dirt in

my face.

I have dedicated myself from the beginning until my dying breath. I will never stop...the work will never end. We may small ants individually, but in mass we can do great things. I have seen it happen.

"How can we justify to the unemployed and underemployed in the United States the incredible cost of maintaining a global empire?" - Dr. Ron Paul

My Father has

been an educator for all of his career (30+ years!).

He told me: "You never stop teaching."

As a former leader of Marines, as a godfather, as a husband... I can tell you this:

YOU DON"T STOP, even after you think the people around you "got it".
YOU DON'T STOP, even after you think you know all that you need.
Teaching and educating is TRAINING FOR LIFE. Always refresh and expand your skill sets or you will lose what you don't use and then other things will come along and replace what you used to know.

Never forget and never quit on the things that matter.

In short... never.

If one world government comes around...

Are you going to stop then?

Helllll NO - you're going to be more frantic about waking people up than ever before. ;)

Watch this video. Mr Ruppert

Watch this video. Mr Ruppert is a whistle blower who's life has been threatened and is in jeopardy. Why? Because if he's not hitting the mark he is damn close. His explanation of what matters and who we can save is clear. He tried for 20 years to save his country. A country which does not want to be saved. Now he works to save you. Those who have an open mind and already awaken. You can't save everyone, at some point you hit the law of diminishing returns. At some point, we must save ourselves.

Forever!

and never let them go to sleep again.

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

Even if we can only wake up 1 in 100,

it will be worth it.

We will need every person we can get.
That "tick" has gotten mighty big, and it is gonna fight before it gives up its blood supply.
Remember that.

Until...

...until!!!

It's really no task at all, to educate most people.

What is nearly impossible is convincing them to unlearn the lifetime's worth of sophistry, propaganda and lies; all of which precludes them from realizing that we may have something valuable to teach them in the first place. I also call these people the “collective ignorant”.

But the thing is "the people" are vast and diverse. Many are working actively, diligently, to bring an end to the crimes we outline. Probably most are too busy trying to deal with unnecessarily overcomplicated lives (to some extent due to the perpetration of these crimes by their "representatives") to even notice much beyond their immediate crisis.

Like the mortgage swindle.

At this point, I can no longer allow people to even tell me "apologies" and "rationales" for the banking industry. Too many people have warned about the moral hazard of our banking system's institutional flaws. Too many people tried to bring these warnings to Official policy makers and economists.

Yet the steadfast "honest mistakes" of these Officials (who continue to insist we must simple do more of the wrong thing) have had plenty opportunity to turn course and set new paths. They refuse. Such refusal in the face of mountainous evidence, raises to the level of demonstrable cognition for what results come of it.

How convenient that largely decent hard working people MUST now, at this very time, focus tremendous effort and concern for their necessary shelter... such that they have no energy left to consider how this came about and NOT be suckered into the next round of hellish insanity.

If I was a "Delusional Paranoid", I'd probably be tempted to imagine there is a Con Man's Setup playing out right now.

It's hard to get people's

It's hard to get people's attention when all is going reasonable well. It's hard to get people's attention when they are busy, working all week, playing on weekends, the bills mostly paid, getting kids ready for school etc. As the noose tightens, and more and more people are living lives of quiet desperation, it become easier to get them to look at what is wrong and, more importantly, how to make it right. Ron Paul has shown the problems, but more importantly, he doesn't just rain on people, he offers practical, well thought out solutions.

We can stay with him and the Campaign for Liberty now and forever, freedom being a lifestyle that must be perpetually guarded, or we can acquiesce to serfdom.

Pat

BOHICA!!

Until the last person has woken up!

Freedom Rules!

I am with you.

Most people are already conservative...just gullible

If you listen to right wing talk shows, they MUST talk the conservative talk to get and keep listeners. Why? Because most people are conservative.

So they are awake. What we have to do is shake them out of the hypnotic trance. You see the talk shows get the trust of the conservative audience by talking the conservative talk. Once they get that trust, people believe they have a voice that speaks for them. It's a con job. And after a while, the propagandists can tell lies...such as the best candidate is McCain.

This is the classic bait and switch tactic.

Sadly, people trust whoever agrees with them, speaks with conviction, and seems to be in a powerful position (TV, radio). So if we want to battle people's stupidity, we must have competing shows. The hard part to that is that the MSM controls who is allowed to have access to their stations.

I think most of us hope that more people will trust the internet more and the TV/radio less; however, even if that happens, we STILL must compete via the sales tactics that the propagandists use. We need more people starting internet shows, blogs, etc. And those people need to actually be solid communication professionals.

Don't try to wake them up...sell them...own them.

I agree to a degree with what you're saying

I agree with a lot of that- HOWEVER, I think the people we should 'rail-road' and run over are the 'Neo-Conservative' talk show hosts, etc... BUT- not give up on the 'masses,' as frustrating and (sometimes) hopeless it might feel.

I've read MANY personal stories from people who were converted who were 'Neo-Cons,' or big government Liberals to Ron Paul's message- ALL through the persistence of our efforts.

I agree- we need to continue to strive to get our information out- but not give up on the masses.

I like to think of the movie the Matrix. The fight was against the people 'controlling' the system- NOT the people stuck in the system, ALTHOUGH they often times defend the system out of ignorance.

GO RON PAUL!!!!!!
