A tip from Obama supporters
Tonight I met a bright young Cal student out soliciting contributions to help establish student organizations with offices in campus areas across the country. Their long-term strategy is educational, with an aim to develop young leaders and to spread information on how to influence the DP pols and Obama to stop the US war machine and to roll back FISA etc.
I said I support Ron Paul who has consistently supported those goals. The young man then said he'd originally contributed to the Paul campaign, but now felt it was important to support and try to influence a candidate with a good chance to win the election.
Sad there are so many like him who feel it's necessary to settle for a poor candidate and hope to influence him in a better direction.
But the student's idea for youth education seems a good long-term strategy. Perhaps after the convention young Paulites could work with such groups and contribute an understanding of consistent principles of liberty. Maybe the rest of us could offer support to help young freedom advocates establish or maintain local educational organizations, to build the grassroots into a potent force for liberty.

Yep
In just a week, I'm headed to Washington D.C. to become a field rep. for the Leadership Institute---they have become fairly Ron Paul friendly. I'll be travelling around the country for 3 months organizing with college kids for (paleo) conservative and libertarian causes...Here is my story:
