I know it is unrealistic....but if anything would sell out the arena, you can bet anything THAT would!

To announce that he actually wants to win the election and is therefore nominating Ron Paul for VP. Given McCain’s recent comments on the surge, why not declare victory and start coming home next January. McCain can flip flop a little, it’s not like Obama doesn’t. Besides, who is better than RP to focus on the economy from the VP post and as President of the Senate?

I know it’s farfetched, but if it happened you could see Obama’s jaw drop to the floor. He would likely call up Hillary and ask her if she wants to be the Democratic Presidential nominee in his place.

Seriously, I bet its entertainment probably Willie introduced by him long time friend Dennis Kucinnich.

I was also especially interested in what this could be: could it be a famous musician or group performing or could it be a politician, in the context of the new political leaders that Benton was referring to. We already have Gary Johnson (2 terms ex. gov), could it be gov. Sanford? If it is a politician, I do not think it would be sen. Chuck Hagel. In any case, would be interesting to see who it is going to be. It is IMHO a very good tactical move to announce it Monday, and not now with Jesse Ventura's speech.

Bill Press may also be there. I wonder who the Democrat is going to be that he will invite? Perhaps Dennis Kucinich? (or Naomi Klein?).

Hope people sign on so that we reach 15000 very soon. The fact that the event could be more reported than the RNC would be an absolute breakthrough. If I were a journalist, I could also rather be at the Campaign for Liberty than at the RNC, if you know where not only the action and fun, but also the philosophical depth and interesting diversity
will be.

Oh, I just love it. The GOP establishment selected McCain in early January already as they thought he would be the only one of the candidates with an appeal to Independents and "moderates". Now it will be clear Dr. Paul actually cover that, also with Jesse Ventura, who really represents Independents to a great extent.
