I was watching a documentary about the 70's and heard this.

Billy Jack; " Your illegaly on indian land". Sheriff; " I'm sorry about that, I guess we got cought up in the chase and crossed over without knowing". Billy Jack; " your a liar" Sheriff; " you got the law here Billy Jack". Billy Jack; "When Policemen brake the law there is no law, just the fight for survival'.

I also thought 'who's billy jack" so I googled Billy Jack, I was suprised, and thought some of you would be interested......

Billy Jack was my hero when I was just a wee patriot.

Here's a great video of "One Tin Soldier" set to the war in Iraq.

There Is No Such Thing As "Indian Land"

"Indians" were not here first. Kenniwick man and a multitude of others have been found all over the US that predate all "native" people by thousands of years.

I dare

you to come to Oklahoma and say that. Luckily our major tribes, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Creek, and Seminole have a much better infrastructure than our state and federal Government. We have health care that is funded by the white mans lust for money, education, nutrition help, day care, you name it we have it. When the SHTF you'd be better off begging to get onto indian land.

OR you could fine Kenniwick man and the "multitude" of others and ask for help. Good luck with that one.

Great Retort There Dale

too bad I'm right and your wrong pal. All you have to do is look at how hard the "indians" fought so hard in court to stop scientists from doing dna tests.

They knew this would collapse the 'native" myth. Wake up from your slumber. Refute me with facts not idle threats.

No Such Thing as "Your Land"

..and maybe your house, your car, your wife, etc.

Somebody had them all before.

The air you breathe has been breathed before and the water you drink has been drank before -- the very elements that make up your body have been shared by people, animals, plants, rocks and rivers for billions of years.

Do you own you?

law of the land

I think of Indian land as soverign native land. The law of the land is ruled by common law; (you broke the law (of the land) only if you hurt somebody) So if you know who you are and claim your common law status you can not be subject to traffic stops.

Billy Jack is Very Cool

Gotta love a guy who keeps a Garand in his trunk.

The first Billy Jack movie was made around 1966 and was titled The Born Losers. It is more action oriented and less political than the two successive BJ films and is the best in my opinion. In The Born Losers, Billy keeps a 1903 Springfield in his trunk, rather than the Garand he had in the second film. That's for taking care of business when the perps are more than an arm length's (or more properly a leg length's) away.

One Tin Soldier is one of my personal anthems -- very stirring.

Thanks for reminding us of Billy, it's fun to reminisce.

PS -- That Billy Jack website is excellent -- one tin soldier, indeed!

One tin soldier rides

One tin soldier rides away........Hadn't thought about Tom Laughlin in years. This is encouraging and lots to explore on the website.
