as well stop this campaign. Dr. Paul cannot be on the ballot in the sore loser states and please tell me how Paul-Ventura can still get 50 state ballot access??? In WV the process has already closed down, so it is too late to be on the ballot as an Indy, only the LP theoretically, who would be on the ballot in 48-49 states? And don't you think the media would black them out, very much like do they with Bob Barr? The only possibility is that Dr. Paul get the GOP presidential or VP nomination, and believe me, if Dr. Paul is the GOP nominee, zero chance that Ventura would be his VP, ZERO! He would have some senators or better governors to choose from.

Both Jesse and Ron have made it clear that neither of them will be on the 2008 general election ballet. What amazes me is how you all claim to respect these men, but when they say point blank that their not running, you refuse to believe them. Neither man is lying, both Ron and Jesse know it will be impossible to run a successful third party run at this late date. The world will still be around come 2012, in all likelyhood so will RP and Ventura. If anything the Rally will be a springboard for a possible Ventura/Paul 2012 run. I say Ventura/Paul because I don't see Jesse taking backseat to anybody, not even Ron. With that said, the possibilty of having a half-ass decent president (Ventura) and RP cleaning up the Senate is very exciting. These two men could be unstoppable, if they united early on, and began raising money immedietly.
It is still too late to try to get on the ballot in all the
states. So the best thing is for Ron Paul to keep running as a republican since he is already on the ballot in the states and bringing on Jesse as his running mate. It is our best shot at winning this election!

majority of people believe elections are rigged
considering most Americans dont even vote anymore or vote for whom they can stomach we should be pushing the write in ballot even if your choice is on the machine. we the people can can almost completely agree that this government is corrupt and inattentive to the well being of those it is to represent. i will be w/ you guys to the end of this election but do you really think we would have gotten this countries freedoms w/ asking politely I hope you are all willing to fight for it.

are confusing the primary ballot states with the November presidential election. Ron Paul is on NO presidential race on the ballot in any state (at this moment). It is too late already to file Indy/3rd party in certain states.
Also: If Paul/Ventura would get say 35% but on the needed majority of the states, then they will not win, although they may have the highest vote percentage.

An MTV/internet telethon hosted by Alex Jones with Willie Nelson and friends that included Aimee Allen would literally raise millions overnight. Even if the campaign were based on just write-in votes, the RP/JV truth telling ticket would shake America to its very core!

Stay GOP, not 3rd party.
The best bet is to get Ron and Jesse to agree to this:
They announce that, since McCain's campaign is so iffy and could melt down any number of ways before the convention (or, afterward, before the general election), they are offering themselves (with Jesse as Ron's running mate) as an alternative that will be available at the GOP convention if need be.
No need for a big push (by them) for support in competition with McCain -- just their announcement will inspire conversions in huge numbers. Delegates will also be much more willing to view the DVDs being distributed to them.
They could focus on how, if McCain goes away, their ticket could win the general election by both retaining true conservatives and attracting many independent and third party voters.
