Where's the Big Announcement?

I have been waiting all day for the big, nay, HUGE announcement that was supposed to be made today about a major star attending the Rally for the Republic. I have been checking on dailypaul and the internets almost hourly, but I get nothing. Did I miss something? » |

I think what it was
was the Jessi Ventura announcement. I remember when it all happened and Dr. Paul had to leave the Alex Jones show early one day. Then it was announced about Jessi in fact I think Dr. Paul made a little video. So, I think it was about Jessi and there was confusion and the announcement came out before Dr. Paul got back on Alex. Just my 2 cents. Peace

Delays Can Be A Good Thing
When you're dealing with bigger entities, scheduling, timing and sometimes even the wording of the announcements are important. If they are dragging their feet, it's only because it's important to get everything right before you start making announcements. I see this as a positive because the bigger the announcement, the more important it is to take the time to get things right.

Rage against the Machine
Rage against the Machine will be at The Target center on Sept 3rd, thats the closest thing to an "announcement"
Seriously, they should invite Bob Dylan.
He lives outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul and has always been a pro-liberty kind of guy. He would fill the place up.

The event is coming up fast, people still need to make arrangements. There are roughly 6,000 tickets left. If the band/performer/entertainer is a big draw, there will be mass chaos.
Cheney is going to speak at the GOP Convention.
Then swing by the rally for a speech. Also know as "Rotten Fruit Day" at the Rally for the Republic, rotten food will be given to the conventioneers and Cheney will volunteer to be a target for 15 minutes. He feels it is the least he can do for being so incompetent (criminally negligent) on 9/11 and allowing 3000 fellow citizens to die needlessly.
Funnier still, Cheney will NOT speak at the RNC
He is even afraid to show his face among the "party faithful." hehehe :)

Well...on the upside
it MUST be good- and apparently time sensitive. I dont think RP would make a big deal about a simple possible guest speaker. He'd be more inclined to simply state "we plan on having some really good guests- if all goes well Tootie from the Facts of Life will be there" or whatever. After all of this teasing one things for sure-he's not likely to tell us he "just saved alot of money on his car insurance".

Dr. Paul was on there. They said the announcement would be made later in the week. I was disappointed but...
