If folks are so gung ho on supporting the troops...then this SHOULD be their objective...BRING THEM HOME...our veterans are so mistreated it is sickening. Folks that put their lives on the line 9/11 are being mistreated to no end...also sickening. I wish there was a way to organize them all and explain that "us kooks" are so far on their side it would be unmeasureable. I really get upset thinking of the injustices on the ones that have sacraficed for their country as well as the patriots that have put it all on the line. Dr. Paul has taken very brave steps as well as dangerous. There are several that have put themselves on the front line and i do thank them which is really insufficient. I do do things but i feel so inferior at what i do seeing what they are doing. Again i do thank them very much.

I want to personally thank each and every one of the troops, whether you've served or are still serving, I really appreciate it. I come from a family of a Vets ever since the Revolutionary Wars. My grandfather served in WWII and my dad served in Vietnam. I may be far away in Chile but just know that all of us Americans are very grateful and proud of what you've been doing. You guys are real patriotic heroes! You make the Founding Fathers proud! We want all of you to come home as soon as possible into the best hands you can ever find! God Bless You All!

as a veteran that served under reagan, daddy bush, and clinton, it means a lot when i hear a fellow american thank me. i put up with a lot of bullshit including the realization during the bush1 era that all was a ruse. it was a hard awakening, even after intense tour of duties to include panama-noriega, desert storm, hurricane andrew and the baltics.
it is no wonder ron paul has the support of the military. we are pissed! that our presidents have not defended and upheld our constitution for YEARS!

i was in the service in the early 60's never went over seas, was very lucky not having to..so i feel like i owe the ones that did a lot and it literally makes me sick at the way our Government has done them all the way back to WW1, WW11, Korea and really hit the pits with the viet nam veterans. Then folks put in the draft dodgers as president...CHICKEN HAWKS...ohhhh well i just had to soap box on a subject that i think needs to be aired a lot more.

I was thinking about this early this morning. I have an idea and want to know how people feel about it. Remember during Viet Nam how everyone was tying yellow ribbons around trees. Rather than Yellow ribbons. I have been thinking tying Red and Black ribbons Blood for Oil ribbons. If that is to rough how about White Ribbons for all the innocent civilians and soldiers who thought they went to defend their country and really only went for corporate warfare. I think if people started seeing ribbons everywhere it would keep our soldiers in our thoughts everyday. Heck, the media doesn't even mention anything. I guess we could pull out the Yellow Ribbons if you want. Appreciate in put thanks. Peace Patriots

this past weekend
A kid I have known for the last ten years shipped off to Marine boot camp, the sad part is other than my friends and family his sacrifice means nothing. I say that because nobody is doing anything about it. I think your idea is great because it shows some acknowledgment to what this kid and way too many others have personally given. The very least this could do is remind us that they are paying the price we are not.
