Is Freedom worth $100?
Today's the day, November 5th. A year from now, if all goes well, Ron Paul will be the Republican nominee. It will be because of Ron Paul's message and the millions of people who rallied to it, and helped him along the way.
I sent in my $100 a few minutes ago. It's a small price to pay for freedom; to help the best candidate this country has seen for a very long time, maybe ever. It's more than freedom, of course. It's about restoring a nation to sanity after years of madness and irresponsibility. We are lucky to be able to support Ron Paul, and we have one chance to do it.
As we know, the odds are still long. There are powerful factions working to suppress Dr. Paul and his message. They don't want to see him do well, raise millions or to get the nomination. That is why this day is important. If you are a little short of cash and can't send $100, then send $5.00. That would be great. It could mean the difference down the road.

The success of the "Money Bomb" today led me to consider what should be the next step. The "Money Bomb" is a success because it ties the individual support to the nationwide support for Ron Paul on a specific date. This causes the individual to feel a part of the larger whole that generates publicity at the national level.
Why not do the same with a day targeted for Ron Paul rallies nationwide. Pick a common date in December and let every meet up group plan a local event for some time that day. Can you imagine the FREE PUBLICITY Ron Paul would get from even 500 local events that the over 1000 meetup groups could sponsor? It ties the local group to the national effort just like the "money bomb". Each local media would love to cover the local rally as part of a "National" movement.
What do you think?

Next Step
This is an excellent idea for December to build on today's money bomb success. I for one would gladly participate and help organize rallies.

I hope we can beat record
WOW!, over 5 million on the way to 6 million.
I think we can beat the record of 3.1 million in one day.
It was around 2.8 million last night right.
If we did over 6.2 million wouldn't we get it, even though I'm hoping for a least 8 or 9 million by the end of the day. More than that would be more than welcomed, of course.

No, it's worth $2,300
and lot of volunteer work, I'm doing that as my goal and I'd expect the same for all you others, why? Because just a few years worth of FIT, SS, exceeds $2300, so why wouldn't that alone be worth it?
Mark Davis Show - WBAP 820 Dallas - 11-5 drive announced
I promoted the show w/Mark last Friday and today. Of all the pro war radio personalities, Mark is very fair, and speaks positively (by MSM Ron Paul standards) of Ron and this campaign, although he sometimes casts a sophomoric and somewhat juvenile image of us Paulite Spammers (even though we are engineers, stay at home moms, IT techs, doctors, blue collar workers, small business owners and so forth).
Anyway, I hadn't checked the numbers when I was on the air promoting the event and told his audience that today will be a 2-3 million dollar in one day drive, and I kept HAMMERING away at how the founding fathers would handle the "global war on terror" if they were with us today. This was my lead in from the topic du jour. I kept emphasizing how precious the constitution and bill of rights is, and the magnanimous amount of time proven wisdom that is contained in this precious constitution document that I and many others have sworn to God to defend.
I'll try to get on the [Karl] Marxist Levin show tonight on the way home from work, but I can't promise too much. I'll hit the screener with the 'ol reformed liberal who now sees the light because of Marx Levin and his brand of American empire communism, ahem, I mean conservatism, and see where we go from there. Oh yeah, I'm about to donate $125, another later, and then match the same on 11-11, our next big push to constitutional freedom and liberty. Remember 11-11-07. Over 2,500 troops bled and spilled their guts all over Normandy beach for us in a matter of a few hours, let’s pay them back for their ultimate sacrifice, and the sacrifices of all other service men and women before and since by raising 5 million or so today, and the SAME AMOUNT ON 11-11, and the SAME AMOUNT on a couple of big drive days in December, WHO’S IN?!
God bless!
Freedom is worth
a lot to me I donated $200 an extra as a memorial to my late Father & Mother who I know would have supported Dr. Paul.

Try $300
Well, that's what I contributed this morning.
If we're going to come even half way to Romney's $6.5 million
day people will have to at least double their $100 pledges.
Thank you Thank you.
Your helping me keep food on my family's table thank you.
Hell once IRS is gone I might actually be abel to afford insurance for myself as a small business man.
Isn't it funny how all these politicians say you need healthcare, but they aren't willing to cut one single program to reducr size of government so we can keep our money to afford healthcare.
Hmmm, makes a lot of sense,... only to a politician.

Yeah, but how much of that
Yeah, but how much of that did he donate to himself. :)
Paul, the man of the people
Yes, even if we don't break the record for the amount of money donated in a day we are quite likely to break the record for the number of people who donated in a day.
How much longer will the MSM be able to say that Paul's internet support is just a couple of pimply faced spammers operating from their parent's basements?
Any how, as of 12:20 PM the graph just passed $1.6 million, so we've already met my minimum estimate for the day. Glad to see my lower bound was too conservative.
The number is $3.1 million
You probably have seen this by now, but the Romney 6.5 million day was actually only $3.1 million in contributions, with the rest being promises by people that they would give in the future. So we ARE going to break Romney's total in the next couple of hours.
I was going to donate $100.00
But then I decided I could spare a little more and sent in $150.00

Money Bomb has begun!!
I woke up this morning and saw a big jump in the donations.
I myself only have 40.00 to give at the moment but hey every little bit counts.
I've also made a commentiment to a monthly donation until Paul is in the oval office.

Yes - Every little bit DOES Count!
Hey, I donated $25, and as a poor college student, that's a LOT more proportionally than most people who are donating $100, lol.
We all do what we can :)

thanks a lot Corie
Remember what Jesus said about the woman who gave her small sum. You contribution is extremely important, and will be possibly the best investment you've ever made.
